I signed up for the mailing list, but never got the email with the presale code. Did anyone else get theirs?

Hey guys!

Been a Death Cab fan since high school, and they’re my favorite band of all time. In 2019 I was able to afford to go to my first show of theirs in St. Louis MO for the Thank You for Today summer 2019 tour. I wasn’t able to afford the poster for that tour at the time, and have a collection of all the Death Cab shows I’ve been to ever since. I’m hoping that someone either has a copy of that tour poster they’re willing to part with or knows someone who does. It’s a long shot, but I figured I would ask. I’ve been searching for a while and could only find an old listing eBay for one that didn’t appear to sell, but the seller let me know they no longer had it. I’ll attach a picture of it.

Thank you guys for reading!

Belgian/German project; Ben Gibbard plays some guitar on the album Nothing’s lost (2004).

Just saw the announcement for the Calgary show July 2!! Anyone happen to know the password for presale tickets? I got the notification from bandsintown but no code

My soul left my body when I got this email a few minutes ago as I have been waiting for them to come my way, but there isn't a presale code included. It seems that tickets are being sold through something called showpass, which is cool and fine, but I have no idea where to find the presale code.

I could just wait until they actually go on sale but...I'm not normal like that.

Any help is appreciated!!

I haven’t seen a lot of posts but is anyone going? I haven’t seen DCFC since them and Postal Service were in Atlanta so I’m making the trip up

I just wanted to know if anyone else got these shirts and if so, how's the quality? I heard the tour merch is known to be thin but I don't know if that extends to all their merch. Don't wanna spend money on a super thin shirt. THANKS!!!!

Thoughts?

I lost my mom this time last year after seeing Plans live and the song What Sarah Said has just been with me and on days I’m overwhelmed these lyrics really hit me in a way that just makes things a little easier knowing im not alone. But A day or two ago i stumbled on this person playing it on the harp and it’s absolutely amazing. Hope you all enjoy

Remember when I found Transatlanticism at a market stall? Today I found all 3 of these, Something About Airplanes, We Have The Facts AND Narrow Stairs, all for only £10! I’m aiming to collect all of them if I can

My partner and I are finally getting married after postponing our wedding plans from COVID.

I am looking for an instrumental cover of PASSENGER SEAT but I’m wanting something that has the notes for the lyrics as well not just the standard repetitive music without the vocals.

This is going to be my song to walk down the aisle to and I’d like to find a version without lyrics ideally.

Thank you for any and all recommendations!

Any thoughts if the set list will stay the same or change up with the new tour dates added??

I’m a huge DCFC fan and same for Twenty One Pilots. Just wanting to see who else in here is going! I’m nervous about missing DCFC due to the massive crowd so planning on showing up around 4. Very excited for this show! I know it’s a show mainly for TOP, but I’m surprised at how little chatter there is in here. I was supposed to see DCFC in St. Louis and had to miss the show due to a family emergency, so very much looking forward to this! I’m also hoping we might get a joint song or two with both artists since Tyler is a huge Deathcab fan.

Finally finished the studio album!

list of the films that remind me of each track off photo album:
steadier footing - high art
a movie script ending - radio on
we laugh indoors - tape
information travels faster - rhythm thief
why you’d want to live here - the living end
blacking out the friction - border radio
i was a kaleidoscope - it’s impossible to learn to plow by reading books
styrofoam plates - erskineville kings
coney island - a room for romeo brass
debate exposes doubt - late night shopping

Anyone listen to Lizzy McAlpine?
She has a new album and on a track called “Ugly Things” the last 30 seconds sound like it’s from a death cab song. In case anyone wants to listen and enjoy.

Artist and longtime fan here!
I had the absolute pleasure of creating the poster for the Belgium show, and I even traveled a whopping 3,800 miles to see it in person - a core memory was created.
For my American friends who would like a copy (sorry not set up for international shipping at the present moment!) they're available here: https://www.housandarts.com/store/death-cab-for-cutie-brussels-2026
If you're looking for a sign today - let this be it - keep hanging on, dreams do come true

I really like this latest album. For me it may be their best since Narrow Stairs.

How do other fans rank this alongside their golden period of the early days?
