At a minimum, the post title MUST include COUNTRY, PLATFORM and NAME. MAP is highly SUGGESTED.
The goal is that someone can look at the TITLE of a post and know if that server is appropriate for them.
COUNTRY - A SINGLE 2 letter code where the server is physically located. Your server is located in a single country. If your country is US, include the state. If you use EU, include the country. FYI: NA is not a country unless you are from Namibia.
PLATFORM - PC, PS or XBOX. Needed since there is no cross-play and will be used to set post flair automatically.
NAME - same as in the server browser and as set in serverDZ.cfg(PC). How else are players going to find it?
MAP - Chernarus, ChernarusPlus, Livonia, Sakhal or any number of community maps. If you are running a another map, send modmail and let us know.
At a minimum the post body MUST include a well-formatted TEXT description and SHOULD include a readable Discord link.
Protips:
Images aren't searchable nor clickable. You can embed images and the first one will show up as the thumbnail.
Every server should have a community discord for players to report issues and provide feedback.
Create your discord link so it DOESN'T EXPIRE and then use a URL shortener for the link. Nobody can remember those default official discord links.
Don't forget to provide crucial info like Lore, IP, Mods, Slots, Playstyle, Rules or anything you think players need to know.

We opened our Nasdara server last night and hit 42 concurrent players on at the peak, so we're keen to keep building the community.
It's basically completely vanilla. The only additions are earplugs, being able to combine partly used consumables like bandages and duct tape, and admin tools so we can look after the server.
Our admins are active and keep cheaters out, so it's a much better experience than the official servers. This map has been amazing so far and the organic interactions have been hilarious.

What kind of RP is DZXRP?
We lean toward organic, survival-led roleplay.

Here’s the deal:
It’s NOT a bot deathmatch. The AI is light and deliberate.
Towns: There are armed civilians roaming. They are completely neutral. But if you raise a gun at them or shoot, they will defend themselves. Don't be a dick for free loot.
The Woods: Look out for campfire smoke. Bandits actually set up camps in the forests.
Military: Hostile on sight. Don't push military bases without ammo and a plan, the AI there doesn't mess around.
Roaming survivors: Some AI actually wander the map, loot buildings, and gear up over time. A few even persist through restarts.
I wanted a pure vanilla experience but got sick of running through Nasdara for 4 hours without seeing a single soul. On the flip side, I hate those 100x loot trader servers with custom neon UIs where everyone has an M4 within ten minutes. I couldn't find a good middle ground, so I set up my own.
It's classic 1PP DayZ survival (no crosshairs, vanilla loot economy, no safezones), but with carefully configured AI to make the world feel a bit more alive.

- The humanity system of the original DayZ mod is back. Everyone starts as a Survivor.
- Killing Survivors or Heroes lowers your humanity; killing Bandits raises it. Killing a fresh spawn or a tied-up or knocked-out player costs extra. Helping strangers raises it: bandages, stitches, saline, blood, CPR.
- Go low enough and you're a Bandit, high enough and you're a Hero, three levels each.
- Your side's armband is locked on while you live, and you choose its look: swap it for any other armband of your side. Levels 2 and 3 have their own armbands, earned by reaching that level.
## The maps
- **Chernarus, Livonia, Sakhal and Nasdara share ONE character.** Log out on one map, log in on another: same body, same gear, same stats. Die on one map and you start fresh on whichever you join next.
## The infected
- **Only a head shot kills them instantly**, any calibre, arrows and crossbow bolts included. Body shots stagger them, leg shots cripple them. Fists are useless, blunt tools weak, blades work.
- **Gunfire wakes them from 250 metres** (a suppressed or small gun from much less). They walk to where the shot came from and hunt by sight: stay out of sight and out of the light and they lose you. A suppressor keeps it quiet.
- A scratch can infect the wound: disinfect early and carry antibiotics. A scratch can also poison you: it fades by itself, and a PO-X antidote ends it.
- Knocked out among them? Half the time they keep hitting you.
## Survival
- Your body stores more food and water, so eat and drink when you can.
- A quarter more stamina than stock, and holding your breath to aim uses five times less.
- A ruined backpack or pouch drops what it holds and comes off; keep your bag out of the line of fire.
- An EpiPen gives 3.5 minutes without stamina loss.
- More thunderstorms, twice the melee weapons and fishing hooks, more fishing rods, suppressors last four times longer.
## Your base
- Base building without clipping limits: build where it makes sense.
- Raise a flag and type **/area claim**: 50 m around your first flag, up to 4 more flags of 30 m inside it. Only you and your group build fences, towers and flag poles there.
- No building in military bases, permanent gas zones or 50 m around any military building.
## Your account stash
- Four slots that survive your death: take your item back within 5 minutes of your fresh spawn. Slots open as you survive: after 2, 5, 10 and 24 hours in one life.
## Playing together
- Groups in chat: **/group invite** while standing next to a friend, they type **/group accept**. Up to 6 players a group.
- Members who die within 30 minutes of each other start in the same region of the coast. Suicide chains earn nothing and get you removed.
- Fresh spawns use the game's own spawn points.
## Achievements, medals and stats
- On our Discord: a kill feed (posted 10 minutes later, never a position) and leaderboards.
- Link your Steam with **/link** and earn medals and a stats card for what you do on our servers, plus map achievements.
## Rules
- Real launcher names, English letters, no slurs, no default names: the server warns, then bans by itself.
- Set your name in the DayZ Launcher (Parameters tab, Player name) before you join; 'Survivor' and other default names get a warning, then a ban.
- Chat filtered the same way.
- Restarts every 8 hours, with warnings in chat.
- Idle time doesn't count, and nobody is kicked for idling unless the map is full.
