Is badlands released on ps5 yet? I heard it was supposed to come out around 3am pst but I haven’t seen anything yet.

Most my time recently has been finding PVP servers. I wanted to get better at PVP. Staying alive and finding gear I’m have decent enough knowledge. When it comes to PvP if it was close range or long range I got my ass handed to me. It put me off playing, then I started searching for deathmatch servers. There is plenty out there, some better than other but I found one that I like just feels perfect. Lag to a minimum right size decent population and gear ect. It feels really balanced.

So I’ve been playing and when I say I’ve improved, that’s a understatement. The way I can pinpoint others from the audio of shots and gauge how far/near they are is brilliant. I struggled with this and knowing direction I’m shot from. When I’m in close combat the audio ques I understand. My all round aim. My run and gun play. Repositioning and stay calm when adrenaline is going. I’ve all round improved and it’s amazing

Any advice I can give if you feel like your PVP let’s you down, jump into a PvP server and learn from every death

Hey, I’ve been playing official ps5 eur servers on chernarus with MKB for the first 140 hours but they are really low pop and you really need to hunt for other survivors. Mainly more stressed for being spotted than actually needed.

I’m now tempted to learn on controller mainly for the mid-high pop official servers. More players, maybe some interactions.

Are cheaters and toxic players a problem on ps official eu?

I’ve been trying the Vanilla+ Eu community server, but the custom servers events and increased loot
Economy just doesnt get me the same struggle feel like on official, when you have a blaze with a hunter scope and you feel doing amazing already, surviving to get food and other items.

Should i stick to official and learn controller play?

OK guys,I've just lost a run in dayz that was about 2 weeks long, and i died to someone who I think was hacking, they had a plate carrier, so I know that the plate carrier absorbs a lot a damage, but I shot him 3 times at point blank range with a shotgun, loaded with buckshot, and there was no damage to his carrier, and he didn't even get knocked out or take any damage, so was this a cheater or is the plate carrier just insanely strong

Just switched from one official server to another and this message popped up. So is it going to be every official server or not? Went back to my server and sign is not there but maybe it will show after server restart :(

I played DayZ on PS4 for a couple hundred hours a few years ago and put it down for a significant amount of time due to frustration with poor optimization, horrible server issues, a poor control scheme, and that it felt like the PS4 could not run the game properly (and the lack of aim assist. Yes I’m dogshit,I’m well aware.) I upgraded to PS5 several years ago and hadn’t really touched the game until recently. I discovered I could play it with a keyboard and mouse, and holy shit what a great change that was. I haven’t really played any games on kbm until DayZ but it literally made my gameplay 30x better. My aim went from horrendously dogshit to passable instantly. I’m still trying to find a way to be more accurate with automatic weapons and on moving targets, but I’ve been playing aimlabs in hopes that helps. It’s very obvious the DayZ was designed around the kbm experience. Even with an old office keyboard and mouse it feels so much better, and the ps5 does better running the game. I also got better internet so that got rid of the rubber banding and major lag spikes I’d get when I’d see another player. I never won a gunfight playing with a controller, and props to the guys who do it, but I couldn’t. I’ve hardly built up the muscle memory on kbm and I’ve won more gunfights than I ever did playing for two years on controller. Sniping is also way easier as well. The only thing now is trying to find a good sensitivity as my aim is still relatively trash compared to some people I’ve seen. But if anyone who made the switch from controller to kbm has any tips or knows anything that might help or a way to train my aim I’d appreciate it as well.

I have never played Dayz in my life yet. My questions are is it fun? Would I get frustrated with things?

With only a few days left before the wipe, each day that it gets closer I’m feeling like I have less and less to lose. Gear fear is pointless. Updating stashes is pointless.

Time to roll up the sleeves and confront some individuals. Maybe my aim will improve.
