Yeah but in urban it will come.

Water is the only truly natural thing you mentioned. Most dont pay, people without their own well pay. Water is still free if it comes out of the ground.
The question is weird, so they would build a giant dome and block off the sun then let some back in on louvers opened? Makes not much sense.

This century, due to finite natural resources and decline from an all-time peak of extraction, including all resources used for "green transition", the elaborate, covert, multigenerational plan is to downsize the global economy and population to a tiny fraction of their former size. This requires endless r/ObviousTheater
ChildFree, Shrinkflation, NoPlastic, Fuck Cars, 15-min cities, Work From Home, UBI, 4-3-2-1-day workweek, Tariffs, Dying Retail/Hospitality, Tiny Homes, "Reducing Emissions", layoffs blamed on AI, 0% beer and liquor, simplifying diets, lockdowns, enshittification, conflicts to disrupt resource supply, pack stations, smart meters, "Overtourism", waste reduction...
This pervasive r/LowConsumptionAgenda is shrouded in positive narratives (saving the planet, clean air, walkable cities, convenience, health & safety) to conceal the fact that 99% of a declining population will sacrifice their prosperity, mobility and freedoms -- while the Overclass sacrifices nothing.

Everything you have said has been based on wishful thinking. You speak universally but have no real regard for the particulars you seek to ride roughshod over. Your understanding of what human beings are, of what they do and why they do it, seems wilfully naïve.

The fake far right threatens to cut support to Ukraine. They won't tell you it's a fake war (with real dead people) to disrupt finite resource supplies.
The fake far right is opposed to green transition. They won't tell you it's a distraction as we phase out ALL finite natural resources.
The fake far right would reduce immigration. They won't tell you immigration camouflages the planned birth rate decline while reducing the birth rates of the immigrants.
The fake far right believe in viruses that can mutate around the world. They won't tell you that Covid was an orchestrated theater to introduce a method of shutting down demand for finite natural resources.

What I meant is people that want to chill on earth and be around nature and live a peacful life its alright. Well we cant defeat negative emotions beacuse it is a part of who we are, what I want to do is redirect them so more healthy compeition, moreover we shold care about everyone so helping lesser developed communities and countries, using technology to destroy corruption and organizated crime as much as we can.

What you're describing isn't 'peace'. It's a specific political movement, based on a specific idea of what's good and to be strived for.
That aside, what about people who don't want peace?

Definitely how the planet is getting pummeled by the corporations to benefit the few at the top at the expense of the majority and entire planet.
r/DarkFuturology • u/alienccccombobreaker • 1d ago
I can't prove it or have energy to research it but I feel like the more we pollute and basically destroy the planet and corrupt it just like in movies such as ferngully or that oil spill one we basically we reducing the quality and safety toxicity levels of our air and water supplies here on earth like the reason some of us are so dead and tired nowadays is because our environment is killing us and we are consuming essentially reduced quality water and infected nutrients nowadays compared to earlier times where the amount or level of pollution was less.
This is something that registered and clicked with me most when I was a kid aka when I was still somewhat untouched and still pure of mind.
It could just be all in my head and my own brain or mind stressing myself out overthinking and overwhelming myself as usual or yeah the more we damage our water and air supplies here on earth we cannot fully return them can to original source 100% and just like most things in life it degrades or worse mutates into something else.
I have no idea but this is my tin foil hat most believable conspiracy that sits very uncomfortably in the back of my head just waiting for it to be verified or seen.

What about the people(s) who don't care about technological capability, open science or deep space expansion, and who think that their own wretched existences constitute 'genuine human experience'? I think they would be confused to be included in your 'we'. Is your plan to exterminate them, or might you be persuaded to row back a bit and concede that what you are proposing is a particular coalition, not a species-wide project?
r/DarkFuturology • u/HITWind • 1d ago
This is all still in linear time. Think of what's actually approaching as a phase transition.
Regardless of whether there is a hidden alien galactic council or not, think of what is necessary for "civilization" vs "animals with nukes"... A great filter is not only there or not there, but it is necessary by "law", for this reason.
There are two parts:
First, Fusion. Ironically hydrocarbon fuels are the renewable resource. or rather, they are the battery we are looking for. The sun is the balanced fusion source. What we are actually attempting to build is not really a fusion power generator, but rather a matter destroyer that allows us to rearrange other matter. The most energetic destroys hydrogen, which is essential for water and everything. What we normally think of as "burning" is not destructive to matter, just arrangement... but when a fusion reactor "burns" hydrogen, it's now gone. We're turning water into lithium etc. Now on it's own this wouldn't be bad because of a normal individual human's requirements, but not only do humans multiply, we are adding another ingredient:
Automation. It is 100% valid to assume at some point automation will result in a fusion/gamma ray array 3d printer (replicator), even if it's not the size of a microwave, maybe it's the size of a normal power station and factory. It is buildable, and it will be able to make more of itself using the destruction of matter. All it takes is a stupid command like "make as many replicators as you can" to set off a replication bomb that eats all the hydrogen it can reach.
We are on that doorstep which necessitates the great filter. Now. What is the test? Very simple. Does the species have the capacity to control it's inherent computational power against corruption and act in righteousness towards others? And here's the crux. Leaning on logic for righteousness is a trap; logic in those with enough intelligence to cobble together reasoning, but not enough to exaustively disprove itself, and especially in those whose appetites share cognitive space and can hijack priors, pre-perceive/filter our observations, hijack what we deem important vs not, etc, is actually not a defense, and is in fact a liability. We fool ourselves constantly so we can be offended, so we can be better than others, etc.
The real test is whether we can see where we are morally inadequate and choose to go a different path from one we might feel fully justified in taking, because we know in the long run the path of I'm right and you deserve what's coming to ya is the exact way two "righteous" people destroy each other, enslave each other, etc. That's the whole problem we're having, regardless of technology.
What we need is a decisive test if humans are actually able to sacrifice their individual designs and justifications in order to do right by a higher law, a deeper morality. But here's the unexpected part: This has already been accomplished. There was a man, a human man, with great power. Some said he was the son of God himself... documents from witness accounts of the time say he healed the sick with his powers, but in his time alive he was tempted to establish a kingdom with his power, to save himself from death and impose his will, and as if proof that he was the actual one, he refused, and isntead let them torture and kill him, and then, get this, FORGAVE them saying they didn't know what they were doing.
So when aliens or ourselves, whoever, looks to humans and asks whether we pass the great filter, there actually is a simple answer because the test has already been taken and passed by this man back in the day. In fact, after he passed the test, some say he was brought back to life and he's alive to this day, not interfering but if we individually can recognize the supremacy of this holy spirit he embodied, we also pass the test! That's the good news, the Bright Futurology is that we actually live in a time After the filter was passed by humanity. And that those who repent of their natural human tendency to harbor the synergies of the animal appetites within our supercomputer brains, and bring us to harm ourselves and others in order to justify doing more harm that the body wants to do, then we too can call upon the spirit of that great man and let it transform us.
The great filter is actually a wall, and the only way to pass it is to find yourself on the other side. Those that build a relationship with this holy man and his spirit on the other side of the glass, have called upon the crusifiction of their animal flesh and it's passions and appetites in order to appear as imperfect but saved souls on the other side. It's not about new designs and new systems... all the technology will be there when we get there. What matters is the state of corruption we live in today, the enslavement to our flesh, and waking up as sentient spirits with agency and awareness of our inclination to be corrupted, to like and want corruption, to be blind to it for our own designs, and to "repent" ie to know right from wrong as well as that we are blind to so much as individual humans, we all fall short of a glorious and complete righteousness, and to place the standard set by this man as our origin point and center of meditation and rescue from our animalistic inadequacy.

How do you see the current form of global feudalism fitting into this project? Does it get pitched to the aristocracy?

Unfortunately the script is already written for humanity, we'll phase out all finite natural resources in controlled fashion while everyone stops having kids. The 0.1% keep everything they plundered and use the new sustainable population of 10 million humans to experiment and be entertained.

I'm no expert, but if you believe any of this you need mental health care. Like not being an asshole, for your own good, go see a doctor and tell them you have some beliefs that are incompatible with rational thought
