Question Club Dallas

So I feel extremely stupid asking this question. I’ve always wanted to go to the bathhouse but I don’t want to intrude in a male only space where I don’t feel like I would be accepted. Does anyone know if they accept non passing transgender women who still get called sir. I don’t want to call and ask this question.
Sorry for the bad grammar. I’m just very curious because I’ve always wanted to experience the bathhouse culture.

Sharing Resources/New Places Monday cruise to Ft. Worth.

Went to Ft. Worth. Jackie Os, Liberty and Reflection. Met a couple of folks and sang really bad karaoke. Lotta fun for a Monday.

They were all low key and had 5-7 people. Jackie Os was about to start Karaoke when I left. Liberty had karaoke going already. Reflection started bingo at 10. Something for everyone.

Question Considering a Move to Dallas — Would Love Some Input from the Gay Community!

Hey guys! Please remove if not allowed, but I’d love to get some insight from the gay community in Dallas!

I’m a 25-year-old gay guy currently living in Kentucky and hoping to move somewhere new within the next few years. I’ve been looking at cities like San Diego, Austin, Fort Lauderdale, and Phoenix, but Dallas has also caught my attention.

For those of you living in Dallas, how easy is it to meet other gay guys in their 20s and make friends? How’s the dating scene, and are there good recreational sports leagues or other activities to meet people?

I’m also into the outdoors, so I’d love to hear about outdoor activities, parks, and trails in the area. I lost my basset hound last year and am hoping to get another dog once I’m settled somewhere new, so I’m curious about how dog-friendly Dallas is, too.

Overall, what do you love most about living in Dallas, and is there anything you dislike or wish you’d known before moving there?

I’d really appreciate any advice or personal experiences. Thanks in advance!

General Discussion I'm getting rid of a ton of femme clothes

I am unfortunately having to move because my poor life choices lead to... Okay well never mind that lmaooo

I am moving out of my place in Southlake. I have a habit of going to thrift stores and buying all the clothes. I don't really filter them by size. If it's cute and if it's feminine, it's going in the cart. I hang the things that don't fit on the walls as sound dampening for when I record music, so I can always justify buying something cute even if it's not my size lol.

So I have about.. 6 or 8 big trash bags full of clothes that I can't take with me. Cute skirts, tops, vests, sweaters, jackets.. yeah, just a lot of stuff.

Rather than throwing it away, I'd really like to see if it could go to some girlie(s) that might find things they like in it. ☺️

Please let me know if you want to take it all off my hands and save it from Goodwill, or worse - the trash - because I have no way to transport it to Goodwill since poor life choices also killed my mini cooper lmao

Grief comes in many forms, and none of us should have to carry it alone. Living with Loss: Queer & Beloved gathers Monday night, October 4, at 7 p.m.

Post image
10 Upvotes

This is a space for LGBTQ+ people and those who love us to talk honestly about the losses we carry—death of a loved one, the end of a relationship or friendship, family estrangement, divorce, changing relationships, loss of community, or the grief that comes when life simply doesn’t look the way we thought it would.

You don’t have to have the right words. You don’t have to be at a particular place in your grief. You can simply come and be with people who understand that loss is complicated and healing happens in community.

Community is important, especially in times of grief. Come find yours.

Question Where to take my lesbian friend?

My friends painfully shy but wants to try getting back into dating, told them I’d try and find some lesbian or gay bars we could hit up and I’d try to wingman for her. I’m 25yr straight guy and she’s a 26yr old lesbian.

Would it be weird or intruding for me to take her out to a lesbian club or bar? Don’t really go to club myself, I usually just try to meet people at concerts so not rly sure what we’d do there to be so real besides trying to make random conversation. Anybody got any ideas? Just wanting to help her branch out and meet more people, both our jobs are mostly older straight folks, and we’re both new to Dallas so idk anybody to introduce her to. Thanks!

Question Making Friends: Game Nights in Dallas (Marty’s)

I’ve been in Dallas for a few years and still haven’t found a solid group of friends. I do blame myself though because I don’t put myself out there. I work from home and can be somewhat of an introvert

However, it’s time for me to fight through this and put myself out there. Not really into playing sports so I am looking for moreso game nights, bingo, book clubs, etc.

Has anyone been to Marty’s Live for their weekly Tuesday game nights? I want to go but always nervous meeting new people especially since I assume most people already know each other there.
Are there any other game night I should check out? Any queer bingo bars? Queer book clubs?
