Novice Here! Just some questions on emulating the Covox Sound Master.

I'm a young guy, and although I've known about DOS, I haven't personally dabbled into building your own system and installing MS DOS and what have you. And I'll admit I used Arena to help setup. I know, you can tear me a new ass for that. But I didn't know which out of the plethora of systems and setups to use, furthermore, there aren't any tutorials on YT.
That's pretty par for something this obscure though. Most of what I see about the SM is on forums and such. And only up until this year, did any DOS emulator successfully support this sound card. I mainly was interested in this bc of the rare sound chip (AY8930/P) it uses.
Anyway, my main question is, which system or settings is the most ideal for the sound card? I wasn't going to do this, on a convenience level. I'd lowkey rather address this with an AI model, rather than waste someone's time going back and forth with them, bc I don't know what the hell I'm doing. However, I still want to hear from people that know their shit.
I've had an issue with how certain games run. I have MS DOS 6.22 installed, I'll attach a screenshot of my system specs in the comments. PoP won't seems to softlock when starting level 1, and part of the intro sequence (when Jaffar appears) does not load either. Does the CSM cause this or is another system needed to implemented?
Also Where In Time Is Carmen Sandiego is supposedly the only game to use any extra features of the sound chip, but all I hear is square waves. I mean, it sounds very good, but I've play a some of the game, and I've yet to hear anything that stands out. I may need to play more of it, or perhaps either I just need to change some settings or it actually doesn't have any music or sounds that use the expanded sound of the AY.
Also, is there anyway to listen to the OST of such games on the DOS, like a sound test or something? Is there an app I'd have to install on MS DOS to accomplish that? Hell, a ost ripper would be very cool.
