Load ANSI.SYS and the weird control codes in the prompt will go away.

No way! This is a well deserved port given the game's aesthetics!
1 u/TRX302 23d ago [shrug] ANSI.SYS was on the DOS distribution diskettes for a reason, you know. I used it to colorize my DOS prompt. Some menu programs used it as well. 3 u/tpimh 23d ago Or maybe just strip them. That's just a reset, so not really useful, because the game is switching to graphical mode anyway.
