Say wondering what they're playing with... It was a piece of bone 😂. She thinks she's as tiny as him whilst he thinks he's as big as her 😅.

You can clearly see this is playing when the small dog begins to move away the large dog tries to move the bone back to the small dog to continue the play more than once.

FWIW, this isn't play, but it's not necessarily concerning either. It's big brother tolerating his little brother being player 2 on the Nintendo but doing it badly.

Shortly after filming, my little dog walked away and my big dog took the bone to him. My big dog let my little dog 'win' the piece of bone to which he dropped it Infront of my other dog to go and play with my big dog again. I understand to alot of people alot there this sort of stuff never or rarely happens but the pack dynamic I have is spot on.

The bigger dog is clearly offering the bone when the smaller dog pulls back, this looks like play to me

I suppose it depends on your definition of 'play' but they're both clearly enjoying themselves. What sweet doggos. I'm gonna go cuddle some of mine now.

I love how his paw is on her face.
She's like "Wait, you're done? But the bone is still here..... take it!!!!!"

Allowing this to happen is crazy. You have no idea how badly this can go do you?

I can’t believe how violent and dangerous that fight became. At one point he even moved his head a little

Thanks for illustrating what the internet has done to peoples reasoning skills. I'm talking about potential problems, and you jump straight to "but is didn't happen this time". Brilliant.

If the big dog wanted to she could stand up and end this "struggle" immediately. At the very least she finds it amusing rather than any negative reaction. Little dog might be taking it a bit more seriously but the fact that he has the confidence to do this indicates he doesn't see big dog as dangerous.

Big dogs and little dogs can play together safely. They just need to get used to each other and what each is capable of handling. This interaction to me indicates these dogs already know each other and what they are capable of handling/tolerating. They aren't anywhere near an unsafe situation.

Allowing what to happen? I don't have an issue with resource guarding amongst my pack.

Resource guarding isn't the issue. One dog is way too far into another dogs space. That can go bad very quickly no matter how well your "pack" gets along. Big dog could just have a bad day(sick, sore, injured) and lash out, and that little guy is done.

Explains why you're projecting—weren't you just crying on the Rottweiler sub about how every dog is a ticking time bomb? Take a breath, mate. Oh I'll put my Bandog in solitary confinement just incase she wakes up with an headache, I'll also wrap my chorkie up in bubble wrap just as a precaution 😒. I know my dogs, I know what she's capable, I know how to read them, I Trained them the moment they was brought home.

Don't listen to this guy, dogs aren't wild animals. They were bred to be generally predictable and social, like all domesticated animals. They don't have the same kind of personal space that humans do. Many dogs(not all) are perfectly happy to have all sorts of animals climb all over them. You know your animals and this doesn't look unsafe at all.

I’d be more concerned with him swallowing the bone and choking.
