Rallye Du Maroc RDM 2026 need help…
Hi everyone,
I run one of the leading Chinese media outlets covering off-road and cross-country rallying. We’re planning to travel to RDM next month to cover the event on-site.
However, the media accreditation fee is unfortunately beyond our budget. In that case, is there still any way for us to get access to the bivouac? Are there any alternative options or passes we could look into?
This will be our first time covering an international cross-country rally in person, so we’re still learning how everything works. Any advice, tips, or suggestions from people who have been to RDM before would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a lot!
Razor Liu

Dakar How would you respectfully approach a Griot (Gewel) family to learn?
I'm trying to understand the real musical culture of Dakar, not just visit it as a tourist.
My goal is to spend a long time learning, understanding rhythm at its roots, and becoming part of the community—not just taking lessons for a few weeks.
If I wanted to respectfully approach a Griot (Gewel) family or a traditional musician in or around Dakar and learn through an informal apprenticeship, how would someone actually do that?
I'm not looking for generic advice like "use Facebook," "send emails," or "contact a travel agency." I'm interested in how local people would genuinely recommend approaching this. I feel those kinds of answers reveal the real culture and the paths that outsiders usually don't hear about.
If you grew up around Griot families or know people who did, what would you honestly advise someone in my position to do? Are there customs, expectations, or mistakes I should know before even trying to make contact?
I'd really appreciate hearing from people who know the culture firsthand.
