How do I stop the flippy-outie?
I ask here because I don’t style my hair (just wash and air-dry) so I’m hoping to shape it better to avoid the cartoony ends

Anyone here making DIY haircut videos?
Hey! I'm with 27th Lab, a grooming brand on TikTok Shop.
Our 3-piece clipper kit sold out faster than we expected, so we're working on getting more back in stock.
I've been checking out DIY haircut videos lately, and some of the transformations are seriously impressive.
If you're into filming and sharing your own haircuts, feel free to hit us up! We'd love to work with you!

Shout out to Wahl
Hopefully this is the right place to do this.
I have Wahl cordless clippers that I bought from Amazon about 4 yrs ago. Recently the battery has given up - it will not charge at all, though the clippers still work fine if I have them plugged in. While looking at Amazon for a replacement, I noticed the invoice from my current clippers and the item said it includeda limited 5 yr warranty.
So before I spent the money to buy something new, I filled out a form on their website, provided a copy of the original invoice and asked if my issue was covered. A few hours later I got an email asking me to confirm exactly which model I had. Within an hour of me responding to that message, I got another reply stating that an order was placed for a replacement set of clippers.
No fuss - no hassle - easy peasy. Thank you Wahl for standing behind your products and making the process easy to get customer care!

Need barber recommendations for growing my hair out
Can anyone recommend a good spot? I want to grow my hair long but need someone to trim the sides/back so it doesn't look crazy. The barber shop should have barbers who could cut bro flow, wolf cut, shag. most of doesn't know how to handle long haircuts.if malayalee dressers it would be more convenient.

Beginner clippers for maintenance/potential fades
Hey all,
I've been getting a skin cut fade on the sides to a 1/1.5 on the top (hair started thinning a few years back), currently getting it done every 3 weeks. It looks pretty decent for a week and a bit but around the 2 week mark it looks off (sides growing faster/longer than the top). I want to start buzzing at home, nothing complicated, maybe just a 2/1.5 all over, just for maintenance before formal barber visits.
What would be a decent clipper set for my needs? The only pre-requisites I have would be somewhat affordable ($150 max in CAD) and cordless (planning to cut in the tub standing for easy clean-up). Amazon Canada would be the preferred store-front as well.
In the future I may practice with skin fades myself so the clipper set would hopefully have a decent number of guards to facilitate that but I'm also okay with keeping it simple for the same length all over.
Thanks!

So I have a dilemma..
So I have a personal dilemma...
Okay, so of course when you're a kid going to a hairdresser, you're not going to care how it looks.
Lately though, I had a picture of a hairstyle I wanted for myself. Ones I couldn't find a perfect image of on the internet.
I also am terrible at explaining and have failed to get the idea I want every time.
I tried using hairstylist terms for the ideas I wanted.
And every time, I had planned a script in my head a week or two in advance because I'm not good at talking to people.
I went through several different hairdressers too... a few earlier ones back in school that I wish I wasn't stressing with because they could've probably done something good from their own knowledge instead if trying to do it based on my explanation.
I even failed when using multiple pictures to show specific parts I wanted which somehow the hairdressers translated to "let's follow one picture completely" and I'm so frustrated that I'm started to consider just cutting my own hair..
That brings me to more dilemmas...
I have zero idea what I'm doing (aside from little cutting techniques I learned from a hairstylist reacting on YouTube to others cutting their hair at home themselves and turning out beautiful sometimes)
I have anxiety that's made worse whenever my hair is involved. I worry that a hairstyle won't work like I thought (especially because I don't have knowledge about round face or square face or any face suited hairstyles) or I'll ruin it (because again, I know little about cutting my hair and learned I can style short side bangs easier than long curtain bangs).
I've been wanting a unique style for myself but it intimates me because I know to get a unique one, you have to just try. However, I'm not the type of person that does things without a plan unless I'm already familiar with it.
Cooking? Follow the recipe carefully that I end up taking 2-3 minutes each step just so I can read said step multiples to make sure I understand it.
Going somewhere by myself? (Like new job or a mall I like) I follow the Google maps route exactly for a few weeks until I get used to it.
Have a haircut in mind? Go through a bazillion pictures and still not find what you're looking for.
Yes, I said that twice but I wanted to make a point.
Anyway, I'm terrified of putting scissors to my own hair because it's a 50/50 on whether I mess up. Wait no.. 75/25 chance of ruining it probably.
-
Well now I feel dumb because I realize I could just ask for things simply like side bangs or trimming the ends to make it easy on myself.
Writing helps me piece together my thoughts when I'm confused.
But I wrote this entire post so I might at well post it and get advice and tips anyway.
Thanks for reading my thought process.
(Yes I posted another because I realized there's an actual community for cutting your own hair. Oops.)
