I have made my own Minecraft horror mod. Can you please give tips for the mod and what to add and fix. (The showcase is provided). Can you guys also rate it out of 10? I’m an old player very old. I recently got a new computer(play on Mac) and played a bit and saw the mods I love have been updated to a new one. However I need to open the old profile with the mods to get a list out. However anytime I try to launch the modded version I’m assuming it crashes or just doesn’t launch. When I try to launch it again it says I’m already logged into this world. I went to try to install a newer version of forge like I remember it doesn’t work because it uses java. Mac removed java in the latest update. Is there anyway to install older versions of forge these days? Or do I kinda just have to upgrade?looking to install 1.7.10 btw

I wanted to share a little project I’ve been working on called Uncrafter 2.

The idea came from a simple situation: sometimes you craft an item and later realize you’d rather have the materials back. So I made a mod that lets you reverse crafting recipes instead of just letting those items sit unused in your inventory.

It includes an Uncrafter block, configurable resource recovery, and JEI/REI integration for checking recipes. It can also work with compatible modded recipes.

I'm currently targeting Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.1 with NeoForge.

I'm curious what other modded Minecraft players think about this kind of mechanic. Would you use something like this in a survival world or a modpack? And what would you change to make it feel balanced?

I’m still interested in hearing feedback and suggestions from other players and modders.

I'm trying to reactivate my resource packs in a cobblemon modpack on 1.21.1 I made in Curseforge but my game crashes without loading the resource packs. I'm not even sure why they were deactivated in the first place. It even crashes if I just access the resource packs screen and back out without making any changes. I can access my world fine and everything as long as I don't try to touch the resource packs, but then lots of Pokémon are left without models... I did not click on the page at all, I know to wait a while to let it load. This used to be all it needed and it would either eventually load or it would crash & then the resource packs would be active when I restarted the game. Now, it crashes & doesn't activate any of the resource packs.

Here is my latest crash report where I didn't even try activating or deactivating any resource packs, just entered & exited the resource pack screen:

Is there any way to activate resource packs without being in-game to do it? I thought maybe that'd help but I'm not sure that's an option.

Edit- Since this crash report, I have updated my fabric from version 0.18.3 to 0.19.5. This did not fix anything.

I play on both a desktop and a laptop, and I’m trying to use just one modpack with one save file instead of playing two different games. Is there some sort of cloud I’m not aware of? Even though I’m logged in on both apps they don’t share my files. Is my only option to share it as a .zip file back and forth each time I swap?
