Litecoin is the same USD price it was 10 years ago. Against bitcoin it is down -93% since inception. Saying litecoin is a failure as an investment, would be an understatement. Lame.

because ltc is more then just a investment you can actually use the coin to pay for stuff and gambleΒ

Litecoin had its chance to remain relevant but they screwed that up. Now it's just another shitcoin sitting at all time lows on the ratio. It never pumps when everything else is but sure does dump with everything.Β

The Litecoin ETF has been live for a year and barely has $10 Million inflows. The worst crypto ETF ever launched. Zero demand. It's headed to zero on the ratio over the long run.

You probably aren't paid you are probably doing it for free because you've been a bag holder for years now but should probably tell your group that its painfully obvious with these weird posts on this subreddit that you people are trying to shill LTC

What is the actual point of using litecoin?

Originally? It was built as a faster, more efficient version of bitcoin, using a fork of the BTC code. Today? Absolutely no point, the institutional money moved on long ago

When BTC fees were too high, I used Litecoin.

But this was before the time of ethereum tech.

around five years ago I gifted one LTC and ETH to my friend as a wedding present

LTC was around $200... it's now at $60

ETH was around $700... it's now $2400

Hopefully that friend swapped the LTC into more ETH and hodled
