Question Mold problem?

I bought this recently and just got it set up today, and i had trouble screwing this on, however i’ve never seen something where it makes you mess up the paint and mold while doing so. It shoots just fine already sighted in and everything just curious if anyone has ever seen anything like it before

The bow is a Killer Instinct Motive 405

I don’t even know what I’d say to them, they would just I caused that. They got the mold wrong lol.

This damn thing was on sale for $100 off the original price for 230 so i said hell with it. I’ve never seen anything like it before

Just digs into the mold, no idea why. Theres no other way for me to screw it on too.
