Entyvio injections into thigh
I started entyvio in August and sometimes it hurts and sometimes it doesn’t. When I used to take Tremfya it hurt sooo bad every single time. Does anyone else inject entyvio into their thigh? Where do you place it specifically? Do you sit or stand?
I’ve been doing it in the mid thigh area while sitting but maybe that’s not the best option because it still hurts more than half the time :/

I inject into the middle of the thigh, sitting down, about 5-6 inches away from the crease of my groin. Sometimes it hurts, sometimes I don't feel a thing. Been doing this since February 2025 and haven't figured out yet if there are any factors that go into it being less painful. Doesn't seem to matter how long I let it sit to warm up, morning or night, anxious or not anxious, hormones, etc.

warm it in your armpit for atleast 5 minutes right before injecting, as well as leave it out for atleast 9 hours on the counter first. i’ve gotten this mostly down to a science lol. these tips help significantly with my entyvio

I take Skyrizi, but the injection options are the same, I think: Abdomen or thigh. I prefer the thigh; however, I use the on-body-injector (OBI) and not an actual needle. The OBI needle is very short.
