I got very upset when they binned off Pedro. Will run him as Calgar in game with a brick of Assault Terminators that are yet to be painted. Happy with how it turned out.

I am trying to design my own chapter called The Silent Wardens, they will also be a successor chapter to Imperial Fists and will have a plain white fist (no circle around it) as their logo.

I know that the Blue and Red is very much a Crimson fists thing but I felt that the amount of Red and the white imperialis and shoulder sigils makes enough of a difference to distinguish them?

The Crimson fists are my favourite chapter but I wanted to create my own to flex my creativity and not be beholden to existing lore and markings.

I also wanted to keep it as a very simple paint scheme as I want to paint them quickly. Do people think they are distinct enough to not get confused and if not do people have suggestions?

Heya! I'm back! In the second video of our escalation campaign centered around the invasion of Rynn's World, I show you how I turned a messed up ebay lot of old firstborn marines into a fully kitbashed and painted 500 points of 7th edition Crimson Fists. I think they came out pretty well!

Spent a good few months working in him. Using bits from the new Armageddon set Captain, Primaris Gravis Captain and the Imperial Fists upgrades kit. He can finally lead his chapter to battle against the green skins! For Rynns World, For Dorn, and FOR THE EMPEROR!!!

Morning yall, I was wondering if anyone knows about a seller on Etsy that sells 3d printed chapter symbols that go on vehicles like the dark angels have. Since the Crimson Fists lack large vehicles decals I’m in need of a few. Thanks for any info.

Hi all. I'm debating starting a Crimson Fists army, and I need some help with a few potential painting processes.

One idea that I'm particularly jazzed about is doing Kantor Blue over purple for a really nice dark, lush look. What I'm trying to figure out is the right way to get this done.

My initial thought is to just do a black undercoat, then drybrush on the purple followed by the blue. I also wonder about just painting on the purple and blue, or maybe doing something crazy like a purple wash over a blue.

I appreciate any advice!

Continuing my painting for Crimson Fists, next is heavy Intercessors and Sternguard

Brothers. I have Tor Garadon primed and ready to be painted in our blue, however I can't find him on the character list on the 40k app to add him to my army points.

Anyone know how to find him? I believe I've looked everywhere, but I might be missing something.

Hey everyone,

I’m relatively new to 40k—a few games under my belt, but still getting the hang of things. I’m looking to run a 10-man squad of Sternguard Veterans in my Crimson Fists list, but I’d like to save some cash and make use of the models I already have.

I've got an extra 10 Intercessors from the Armageddon box and plan to convert them into Sternguard:

• Paint scheme: White shoulder pads and trim, white helmets, plus double crimson fists to clearly denote 1st Company veteran status.
• Weapons: Gold detailing on their bolt rifles to represent Sternguard artificer weapons (which already look quite similar to standard Intercessor bolt rifles).
• Details: Added 3D-printed reliquaries, purity seals, and veteran bits to make them stand out from standard battleline troops.
• Heavy Weapons: I'm planning to stick to the standard Sternguard bolt rifles for now since I have fire support covered elsewhere.

For those of you with tournament experience:

1. Would this level of distinction generally pass WYSIWYG and get approval from most TOs?
2. Is there anything distinct about Sternguard loadouts, base sizes (both are on 32mm, right?), or visual markers that I'm overlooking before I start painting?

Anyone built any lists using Tacticus Firestorm? I’m really wanting to start with 1/2 units of 10 intercessors with 10 Sternguard to make use of firestorm but unsure where to go from there. Maybe Ironstorm for an enhanced RedEx and assault doctrine for some melee support. So many possibilities. Interested to see if anyone has any examples of combos they are thinking of.
