Yeah it’s dumb. For some reason Colorado, Vegas and Utah are all blacked out for Arizona as if they are all in market.

That reason is greed. The Avalanche are on Altitude+ (owned by Stan Kroenke) for $25/month and the Knights have their own streaming platform for I believe $70/season. Not sure about the Mammoth.

Every state without an NHL team still has an "official" team and apparently the NHL doesn't give a shit if teams make exclusive deals on their own.

fubo and DirecTV both have local sports packages that I think carry all three.

Many UHC and Vegas games are available OTA on 15.2 and 61.1

I don’t know why Utah is subject to blackouts since they’re supposedly considered to be a new franchise. As far as I know, SEG isn’t available on any cable system in Arizona. Who gives a damn that they have their own streaming service? Colorado is the same way but Altitude is available in some parts of AZ so I kind of get it (still a crock though). And the Knights are supposedly “our team” right now and their games are available OTA. Just another reason I say F the Mammoth.

Some but not ALL of their (and Utah) games are still on 61.1. A VPN and ESPN website is an option for the other non-national broadcast games.

I like the Avs and would watch them a lot if I could, but their blackout policy is dumb as hell. Almost no games can be watched, even if they’re on national broadcasts like TNT or ESPN. It’s totally hit or miss, but usually miss, so I don’t even try.
