Other Getting my first controller

So I ordered my first controller cosmic byte blitz (the new one with tmr sticks and gyro) I recently got old laptop and I have been gaming since and I got around to order it cuz sekiro and dead cells both required precise timing which keyboard fails to give anyhoo is there suggestions or something I should know ? I'm nervous if I'll be able to use it properly...

Is there something to know about using controller for the first time? Just use it until it becomes second nature, don't use turbo or complex macros in competitive games (you'll be banned for cheating), use it wired for better latency/responsiveness, etc. Not really anything specific I'd advise for control for the games you play aside raising camera speed in Sekiro.
