[Career] CompE career path

Hi,so im going to start my freshman year in CompE in this november, and im kinda scared because of ai and the job market right now, especially in reddit everybody says that its dead,my first question is is it actually a bad discipline? Should i try to switch majors or something?(Although i like CompE)and if its not what is a good career path to pursue with my degree that at least wont be affected heavily by AI and be in demand in 4 or 5 years when i graduate.i think i should clarify that i live in a third world country but i have plans for immigrating to Europe and i always liked coding and did a little bit of web development and although i dont have much experience with hardware im quite interested in it.

Computer engineering isn’t a dead course, it’s a very broad course so you have to choose a beach you like so much and specialize in. You might never hear of a job vacancy of computer engineering, you might hear of embedded systems engineer

Look up LeMaster tech on YouTube to get started with controls. With all the data centers being initiated it’s a lucrative niche that people don’t talk about. For context I am a computer engineer who specializes in embedded swe, lmk if you have questions!
