Before I start talking about the team, I just want to say it's my first time doing this, so sorry if it looks/is a bad team overall.

I really wanted to try mega staraptor, so I put whimsicott for speed control in tailwind and charm to help staraptor, grimmsnarl for barriers and using parting shot in either the opponents or, again, staraptor, then I put mega Charizard Y for eventual denying of opponents's weather and Venusaur to abuse the sun, last but not least I put basculegion for coverage, but couldn't decide if it was better to fully invest in speed with choice scarf or either choice band or mystic water because of tailwind from whimsicott.

I'd really like advice on how to improve the team

Hey so i am gonna share a list of pokemon there types base stat total and primary role and available abilities and can anybody tell me the possible 3 pokemon from this list who can beat most or every of the rest of the combination of pokemon with there attacks and move set i am participating in a hackathon if i won i will even give you party

Guys, can you help me find a replacement for Salamence?

I love Mega Blastoise, so I built this team around it.

I chose Salamence because it’s strong and has access to Tailwind, but I feel like it doesn’t really fit this team.

I’d love to have another Mega Evolution that synergizes better with the rest of the team.

I’m also considering Gholdengo, but Mega Garchomp Z looks like another interesting option.

What do you guys think? I’d really appreciate any suggestions or advice

So I thought I had a plan at the start but picks kept getting sniped lol. This is my current roster and I have the last pick in the snake draft. Was wondering what may compliment these four?

We are playing Champions NatDex format, singles. My thoughts currently have been currently circling Mew, Porygon 2, and Mega Scizor or mega Dragalge as my one mega if they make it back around, so either the special bulk and regenerator or the priority and ya know, scizor doing scizor things. Most bulk and regen pokes were taken in round 2 and 3 sadly lol

I’d post more specifics but don’t wanna flood the post with pictures etc, so any questions or inquiries I can answer per comment and it’s appreciated 🙃 just wanna make sure I don’t whiff this draft lol though grace period corrections can always be made

Looking to do some single battles

I have no clue what i am doing BUT i got invited to a monotype tourney and i got selected for the steel type. I like pokemon since i was young but i only used the cool ones. Idk how to build teams and i want some help.

I can use one legendary or mythical and one gimmick (mega, tera or gmax)

And i want to have excadril as one of the mons. Any help?

Here’s my thought process

Hatterene (lead): get trick room set up, plus has decent spread with dazzling gleam. Psychic is also good for sneaseler

Pelipper (lead): weather ball is good for incin. Hurricane also does well against sneaseler. Ice beam for more anti-salamence and anti rilaboom. Wide guard also hard walls hyper voice because that’s all mega salamence clicks these days aside from tailwind

Clawitzer (backup): backup salamence counter if one of them goes down. Dark pulse also good for Basculegion. Plus life orb boosted, rain boosted, mega launcher boosted STAB water pulse is an absolute nuke for anything neutral, and it also serves as backup incin counter

Archeladon (backup) haha electro shot go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Flash cannon also does well for floette

Turn 1: set up trick room as always. Originally was gonna go for hurricane to put rilaboom in a bad spot, but thought about going for ice beam to pressure mega salamence. But eventually settled on wide guard so that way if salamence did survive ice beam, wide guard would keep Hatterene safe. Fortunately they went for tailwind, so that means no matter what is thrown at hatterene, she’ll survive cuz of sash. Hatterene luckily survived with 19 HP, thus allowing TR to get up safely

Turn 2: hatterene in major danger of grassy glide, so we protect, and after quickly checking what I had in the back that could switch into a grassy glide next turn, I turn mega salamence into a popsicle. Grassy glide goes into the hatterene which is nice, and since ice beam GOT THE FREEZE, mega salamence couldn’t do anything

Turn 3: i still know grassy glide is still incoming, so I swap into archeladon to take anything that is thrown at me nicely. Hurricane into rilaboom since mega salamence is practically used up anyways. They swap mega salamence into sneaseler, which keeps me safe for now, and rilaboom is put in a bad spot after going grassy glide into archeladon, giving him a stamina boost, and healing archeladon back to full (which doesn’t really matter)

Turn 4: electro shot go brrrrrrrrrrrrr, and hurricane into sneaseler to take care of rilaboom, and possibly take out sneaseler. Hurricane gets the confuse, and once rilaboom is down, SNEASELER HITS ITSELF WITH THE CONFUSION, taking sneaseler down.

And with that, they rage quit. I gave my thought process, so plz give me any flaws I may have in my thought process. I also showcased movesets and stats for everyone on my team, so feel free to do with that as you will

Hey guys I made a post saying I would help people who wanted to make a team with WHATEVER Pokémon they want and I got a lot of people asking for help! They were all nice and got great feedback (except one dude who cried over my hashtags 😆) and I wanted to thank yall! I’m trying to become a great team builder and find new strats, unused mons, etc! P.S: I did 17 Pokemon Teams for 17 different people which took me 7+ hours and it was all straight with no breaks 😆 might be obsessed with team building lmao!

I haven’t played since HG/SS but have started to get the itch again. I’ve attempted to understand the new changes to weather, items, Tera, Mega, etc., etc..

However, I can’t seem to decide what format to dive into. I own a Switch, but Showdown seems attractive as well.
