Question What means that A,B,C.. S+ ranking?

Just wondering bc fans of LifestealSMP giving each member tier based on their pvp skill level, and thats okay, but like by what they decide they deserve their specific tier?

I understand it from 1.8 pvp comunity what havent lt,ht ranking (if they have fix me) but they play on 1.9+ and Im confused by that.

Another problem w that is a lot of members rnt tested on any tiertesting server (I search them on pvptiers and mctiers) so people can't 100% decide based just by their tier, and if so I search that Clown (for example) is a S tier (or was) and he is not in the same level as Flow (for example again), so this is more like,,wtf?" if yall understand.

So if anybody can explain me this

Otherwise Im not LifestealSMP fan or smth, just wanna play pvp and Im interested in ,,meet" or ,,see" good players and how they play, I just can't orienting when they r not tested or part of skill level they r shouldnt be

In these types of tier lists you usually choose best player and then rank others relative to them

Well its based relatively so like best player in s and worst in f and they judge from there

Imagine this situation

Luigi and Clown 1v1 20 times, Luigi wins 13 times, and so he's clearly the better player out of these 2

But like a week prior, Luigi fought Flame or Flow and lost 16-4, this would mean that Flame/Flow are better than Luigi and also probably better than Clown as they're better than someone who's better than him

Now, imagine on a PvP server, where players have a lot of fights, along with fighting off the server in practise or in events, eventually you get a rough list of everyone's placements even if they're not tiered

For example, at the start of Lifesteal season 7, some of the top players fought eachother and Flame/Mane won the most and went even with eachother, making them 1st/2nd in no particular order, then followed by Wemmbu/Pentar, who lost to Flame/Mane 60:40, went 50:50 with eachother and beat clown and Minute ~60:40, placing them at a 3rd and 4th I no particular order (although Wemmbu usually gets put 3rd as he's a better Pvper overall) and then lastly Minute and Clown who went 50:50 with eachother and both lost 60:40 to Wemmbu and Pentar, meaning they're 5th and 6th

Now, things like this do change over time, as some people might become washed/not PvP as much while others go on training arcs (Wemmbu for example, started season 6 in the middle of B tier, and he ended as one of the only 4 S tiers)
