Help Razer Sensitivity Clutch
Is anyone using the Sensitivity Clutch setting in Halo? If so, what situations and maybe pass along your settings?

What's clutch setting? Just got wolverine v4 pro for xbox series x today and downloaded app before work but didnt get to play on it yet.
Already set instant triggers and lowered deadzones to 3 (in app, default was 10) Any recommendations?

I’ve tried it but it feels too weird and is waaay too slow unless you put the cut off basically right before accel kicks in.

I would like this feature a lot better if you could inverse the clutch. Keep the sens low when not holding it, and high when you do hold it. Then you could just turn fast outside of battle but not have to hold an extra button during a fight.

sometimes, you can fine tune via halo input look threshold since the halo setting is the opposite.
at first I fried with it, it just locks on at perfect RR range, but the more you use the more youre used to a lower sens and then your normal sens can feel REALLY high/touchy/sensitive.
I used it on a 8 setting in razer and adjusted my look threshold to make it barely slow down aim speed.
i think i want to free that paddle though.
its also a pain if its real strong and you accidentally press it, mid close fight you try to turn and then you stop spinning almost lol.
If all controllers had paddles (its nice on a paddle since anywhere else besides a trigger interferes with your right stick aim ) and this feature i wouldnt consider it cheating, but because many controllers are different and that its a mild advantage if you adjust to it.
I do better just not using it or like i said, having it do as little as possible that it almost acts like a daedzone to slow down a potential over-flick.
I dont like that idea of Pro's though. I feel like in MM its whatever, its not as bad as turbo ghandi hopping or auto sprint. I dont know who uses it or if Lastshot and others tried it for a while. I remember seeing clips of him and others going around of how fast they change in targets at max sens and then calm and still when aiming right on the enemies and all I thought was, thats exactly what the Razer looks like on my screen when you activate it, but maybe just recency bias of trying it out, and then having to see a Pro maybe using it too. Looked more than normal left stick aim with right stick aim subtleties. Like the little nuances on their screen look like the Razer clutch effect, but hard to say honestly.
Its not banned as far as I know or a GA unless im aware of it. Its its own skill to be able to use it back and forth without your fast aim being hurt and even the clutch aim being hurt. When i went without it again and then back to using it, it takes time to adjust back to using the clutch.

I have never used that setting nor tried it. I truly think it hurts your aim because you can get used to switching to two different sens at a time. Doesn't seem viable at the pro level IMO

thank you for your input LastShot. I've adjusted my comment to not pretend I never said what I said, but improved the language to not single you out so hard and keep it less accusatory.
I wasnt sure tbh watching a stream a long time ago but in my post I said "99%", but really just, enough to think it, like i said comparing the clutch used to just Left stick aim combined with subtle RS is hard to distinguish any ways and that day I probably was LOOKING to see it.
My first days with the feature I was like, oh yeah, this is crazy helpful. No way people/pro's wont use this.
Then like you said and I said too in my post. Its really dis-jarring for your main sensitivity, back and forth etc your gonna sacrifice one or the other so might as well dont use it at all.
Only thing iv found it good for is to adjust Max threshold, fine tune it, and you have to hold the clutch on the entire time. The original V3 HE's had very large outerdeadzones i didnt like, but the TMR is much improved.

Seems like a cool concept but I can’t really figure out a great purpose for it in halo
