I have a job that supplies with work boots for the job, and today the shoe truck was here. I went and selected my new boots, Keens if your wondering, and as I left the truck to go back into work the first thing to cross my mind was "thank you for the NEW shoes!" šš¤£
I see so many videos that people use AI and claude to mod the games, combines them together, make them 4k etc. So we have actually capability of easily making the game survive again.
We need a 4k, 64x version of generals, the original version, bc the menu in the mod on red alert is not good and it has so many bugs etc.
PLEASE SOMEONE DO THIS.
My most memorable moments playing Command and Conquer, the music, the characters and one thing that sticks out, how amazing I thought the graphics were back then, I much prefer playing it as it was rather than the remastered version.
What about you all, remastered or original? I do switch between the 2 sometimes, but I always find myself staying on the old graphics. It might be a memory thing.
One thing I remember is the easter egg battle where you battled some strange shit š
Ever since the Generals ZH Android Port came out last week, I've been trying to connect my PC and android together, because someone I would want to play only has the android version. Now I don't exactly know how to do what's instructed, since there's no option in Generals Online in PC for me to turn off the anti cheat. Has anyone tried to have android port and PC crossplay? Or should I just download the android port in an emulator so I can play with him lol.

"An Allied spy has bypassed our security, damaged our base, and is now seeking to escape. Use your attack dogs to track him down and exterminate him. The civilians are aiding the spy and will have set traps for your men. If the spy escapes you, your life is forfeit."
Iām making an adjacent game itās not quite C&C but itās takes a lot of inspo from zero hour. The graphics arenāt quite as good either itās more like a raven field graphics not realistic. But if you have any suggestions for it Im open.
Fluid Generals is live on ModDB. My C&C Generals and Zero Hour mods just got authorized: 120 Hz tick rate gameplay, borderless modes, extended zoom and QoL features. Works with campaigns, single player skirmish, and challenges :) (multiplayer not tested) enjoy!
TLDR: now they're Tier 2, decreased cost, slightly increased speed and HP, kinetic blasters against infantry, photon rockets don't take forever to launch, as in Paradox heroic paralysis whip deals DoT
One cannot overstate how much the Imperial military psyche was utterly broken after two back-to-back crushing military defeats - first failing to subjugate the world, then failing to expel occupying barbarians from their homeland. But perhaps no unit felt it more than Rocket Angels. For them the pain of defeat was mixed with something worse - a feeling of failure and disappointment with their performance. For a supposedly elite force, an "unparalleled success" as Prince Tatsu called them after their early initial victories, they took one horrifying defeat after another, with absurdly high casualty ratios unsustainable for such a premier unit. There were numerous causes for this - after initial shock, Allies and Soviets quickly found out the weaknesses of "orange witches" - to deadly effect. During the Battle of Tokyo alone, a glorious but futile charge meant to break the siege of the Imperial Shogunate ended with all intervening squadrons of Rocket Angels (roughly 20% of all Angels trained) intercepted and mercilessly slaughtered by Apollo Fighters with light losses, leaving only two survivors (Apollos ran out of ammo), earning Lt. Leonard Matlovich of Fighter Squadron 12 ace status and the nickname "Ladykiller".
Contrast between Rocket Angels depiction in propaganda and actual combat performance during WWIII and Rising Sun Uprising was stark to put it mildly.
Rising Sun Uprising only added to their humiliation as Archer Maidens- a unit made out of literal Rocket Angel rejects proved far more respected and useful addition to Imperial military than Rocket Angels ever were, causing a real headache for the occupying Allies. After the Uprising failed and rebels had to escape Japan, pre-war critics of the Angels were loud again. There was even talk of disbanding the unit entirely, for their performance was entirely inadequate to their high cost.
But there was someone who silenced the critics and led Angels on the path of redemption. Former Chief of the Rocket Angel's First Battalion and technically the highest-ranking Angel alive. Survivor of the Tokyo Bay Massacre.
Her name was Takara Sato.
Takara Sato for years eluded Allied capture and proved to be one of the most troublesome rebels postUprising - until money spoke too loudly and she joined Kenji Tenzai in providing not-so-covert mercenary services to Allied Central Intelligence Network.
Aand she was the only Imperial rebel warlord to escape Allied justice during Rising Sun Uprising after so-called Emperor Tatsu's failed (although costly) gamble to expel Allies from Japan.
First to change was equipment. As Imperial AIs determined, next to enemy air superiority assets, highest casualties were inflicted by infantry equipped with anti-air weaponry. The next generation of Rocket Angel armor was outfitted with kinetic blaster gauntlets. Countering enemy fighters - especially hated Apollos (and their even more hated successors - Black Raptors) - was harder as Angels were usually outmaneuvered and outgunned before they could fire back. Correcting critical weakness of photon rocket pods - long launch time - as well as improved jets and more durable bodysuits is meant to level the playing field. At the same time advances in nanocomposites allowed to produce their armors faster and cheaper, without requiring newest generation of nanomachines. Recent raids on Allied confiscated weapon storage sites also allowed reclamation of TDP of āGenshoku" Mk. II paralysis whip, which damages enemy units with electrical strikes. As production of them is limited they are issued to most experienced Angelās first.

But only Takara had moral authority to break the taboos and force the most important change - availability. For years, recruitment to Rocket Angels was artificially limited by unrealistic and culturally absurd requirements, which had nothing to do with physical or mental fortitude. After The Academy was raided and shut down by Allies many of the senior teaching staff decided to end their journey honorably and join Emperor Yoshiro. Surviving instructors who managed to escape and to join the rebels were usually younger and more open-minded to Takaraās reforms, which included increased VR simulations to improve the efficiency of training (using technology stolen from The Allies), loosening relationship and family contact rules to draw recruits. In a short time, ranks of Rocket Angels trained by New Academy were quickly replenished to pre-WWIII levels with new, type of recruit - enthusiastic or hungry for revenge. Shockingly for rebel leaders, endless fractures and inconsistent funding in their movement resulted in some rogue squadrons - including those lead by Takara hereself - taking up mercenary work and fighting for the same hated Allies that almost caused their extinction. Some more famous Angels even established accounts on OF platform (Onifans) to raise funds and promote their cause.
I installed this game from my Steam Library on my Windows 11 PC and launched it. It initially asks for your email address and EA account password. I entered it. On the next screen it asks for a persona name which I entered. After pressing escape to skip the introductory video, I'm prompted again for my EA account email address and EA account password. I do so and it tells me that, "Login has failed because on an incorrect user name, sub-account name or password. Please try again."
Why do my EA account login credentials work fine for the first login, but not the second login? This is so annoying! Thanks in advance for any and all help provided.

Helping a friend get C&C running on their Mac turned into way too much troubleshooting. Finding the right engine, figuring out Wine, installing mods⦠so I vibecoded a launcher to handle most of that.
C&C Unix Launcher is free and sets up supported Steam-owned C&C games on Apple Silicon Macs and Linux. It includes selected mods, like Rise of the Reds.
Itās for people who want to revisit these classics but only have a non-Windows computer and donāt want Wine configuration to become their new hobby. Unlike general-purpose tools, it has C&C-specific setup and defaults. Iām keeping it focused on getting C&C right.
Iāve tested it on my Apple Silicon Mac, and C&C 3 and RA3 now run really well. Linux gameplay is still experimental and untested.
The people behind the engines and compatibility tools deserve the credit:
Im always playing the c&c“s . But i have recently discovered how awesome the ost from Tiberian Sun is. if you listen actively , its awesome . Lone Trooper and Valve , Gloom . And all the other Tracks ist just worldbuilding out of his Work. . That Dude is Hans Zimmer for Games. Dude needs some Prizes.
Iāve been dreaming about this idea for 10 years, and today I finally started building it.
Itās a slow-paced browser MMO strategy game inspired by Command & Conquer: Tiberian Dawn. All players share one persistent world map that keeps living through many days. You deploy bases, manage production, research tech, and level up talents that change the game mechanics.
Whatās planned:
C&C-style base building. Each base gets its own piece of terrain for structures, defenses, and unit production.
C&C-style battles, resolved instantly. Fights are simulated through auto-battle, and you get a full replay to see how it played out.
Tech tree. Build a tech center to unlock new tech and upgrade units and structures.
Special powers. Ion cannon, nuclear missile, A-10 airstrike. Call them in on your enemies.
Expansion with MCVs. Each MCV deploys a new base on the world map.
Attacks and interceptions. Send forces against enemy armies on the map.
Living Tiberium economy. Tiberium nodes are scattered across the map, and your harvesters travel there from your base.
World map activities. Crates, mercenary camps to siege, and more to come.
Talents. You earn XP in battle, and each level gives you a talent: better auto-battle, larger armies, new special tactics.
Iām trying to capture the soul of the original game and scale it up to a world conflict instead of a single mission.
Itās very early, so Iād love to hear your thoughts. What would you want from a game like this? And what would make you actually keep playing a slow-paced strategy?
Note: I know Iām using Tiberian Dawn assets. I plan to replace them with my own later, but until then theyāre just placeholders. I want to build a solid gameplay foundation first and see if the idea holds up before spending time on graphics.
Below is a video of 1 of the auto-battle replays from a base siege.
We've all been wondering if EA had shut the door to more remasters of old PC games after the first C&C Collection cane out, especially with the recent news that Saudi Arabia bought the company. Well the news that Jim is now working on Wing Commander after having shipped Zero Company tells me that we can afford to have real hope that EA will do what's right eventually and greenlight remasters or remakes of Tib Sun and RA2.
Congratulations to Jim for this great project, and fingers crossed that he can convince someone up the chain to give him money for C&C next.
