Post office workers

Does anyone else have an issue with getting their mail delivered? The delivery person on our street skips so many days and doesn't even bother delivering on our streets sometimes. I called the post office several times to make a complaint and she said "sometimes he has appointments and he doesn't come" I wasn't aware personal appointments stopped the post office but here our street is again with no mail 2 days in a row and this has been going on for MONTHS

Submit a complaint to the postmaster.

Would I call the post office directly to do so?

How is that possible and how are they still working there 😡 mine drove down my street today at 730 finally and stopped to deliver the ONE Amazon package that could be tracked to our neighbors house and left without delivering to the entire street AGAIN

In fairness, the one that delivers Amazon packages may not be the same one that delivers regular mail. I have had 3 different mail people deliver to me in the same day due to Amazon and another delivery along with regular mail.

I totally understand that and wish that were true for this case however it was the same driver that delivers to our street every day when he does decide to come

Our "mail" was delivered around 9:30 PM Monday. I say "mail" because it was 1 piece out of the 10 that we were supposed to get that day. We did get everything yesterday, including Monday's mail, but there was no notification that anything was delivered. Usually when that starts it means weeks of messed up and skipped deliveries.

I am aware that Informed Delivery only means that mail should be here within a few days. But the fact that they delivered so late and then the next day the notifications did not go out at all is an indication that things are a mess.

Definitely a mess with these post offices! I called a few weeks ago and a woman told me that informed delivery is to indicate something is coming within two weeks 🤣 a mail person came on my street yesterday at 730 to deliver mail to one single house and skipped the rest of the street completely. Just ridiculous

Informed Delivery is always presented that way. But that is just so they don't get sued for not doing their job. I have talked with a few neighbors and they also have noticed mail not being delivered, sometimes ever, and the lateness way too often.

File a complaint using the USPS website, they do respond. I had a problem with a carrier not making an attempt to deliver signature required packages, she would just put a slip in the mailbox, never made an attempt to come to the door. I filed a complaint and got a response, and then also got a call from the local supervisor. I have not had that problem again.

I wish that was the case for our street. I have done that several times and talked to a worker who gave me the response "oh sorry, your delivery driver has a lot of doctors appointments so sometimes he may miss a day"

The issue with my delivery person was they were actually lying when they placed the slip saying we were not home when in fact we were, there were three cars in the driveway and they never even left the truck to come knock on the door. (have it on video)

USPS in general has been under staffed for years, and the local offices seem to be worse off than other places I've been which improves nothing, but if you go through the Customer care line here over the phone it will take forever and a day (I think it took 75 minutes) to get through the various holds/queues but they will actually help and do some investigating and I did manage to receive my package that had popped up with several very bizarre/impossible distribution tags

They STEAL especially small packages and say “undeliverable” ……. How is it undeliverable when it has my fucking address on it???

I had that happen with a piece of mail that needed to be signed for. She kept dropping a note saying sorry we missed you, we'll try again. I was waiting for the mail with my doors open that way to make sure I see her to sign. They are full of shit
