It’s not all on Daniel Jones

Daniel Jones has 7 turnovers yes he struggled in the redzone but I feel most of it is because the lack of a vertical threat remember last season Daniel jones was amongst the top 5 qb is deep ball accuracy, right now more then ever we need wide receivers because our best vertical threat thatd healthy right now is probably Laquon treadwell, we need like BTJ, Johnston, Mims, (Sutton as a redzone threat)

Now I’m not saying it’s because of the depleted wide receiver room so I’m not excusing dj for some things but you cant say that he’s the entire reason. As well as the fact that he tore his Achilles he probably still has some rust and he didn’t play in the preseason.

I still love AR we also need to find a way to get him on the field we convert him into a tight end. he’d be so good as a TE2 and then we could say we didn’t fail as an organization completely when we drafted AR

Nothing is ALL on anyone.

We have an org that generally sucks from top to bottom. That's the problem. If it was as easy as just replacing one part, it wouldn't be so dread.

Yeah football is a true team sport. You could put prime Peyton on this squad with the staff we have and probably still be 9/10 win team

The coach is great as an offensive coordinator

His biggest issue is he lost a step after the ACL tear.

While that’s an issue, I’d argue his biggest issue is that for his whole career he’s been terrible minus 8 games last season. That seems like a pretty big issue.

Second lowest QBR in the league among QBs with 50+ starts since he was drafted in 2019 btw. That’s a massive sample size. Slots in right below Wentz

He tore is ACL years ago. The Achilles is the most recent major injury.

He's lost a step and roll outs and boot legs were a big part of his game.

They haven’t done any of that so far this season

You’re right, it isn’t all on Post Achilles Jones, but he hasn’t been a fraction of the guy he looked like last year.

Suggesting our problems are because Pierce had a relapse isn’t quite fair to Pierce either. I know, you didn’t actually say Pierce… but saying they lack a vertical threat points right at him.

Regardless, AR has no experience at TE so that would be another disaster waiting to happen. We’re better off letting things play out and wait for the heads to roll when the seasons over if not before.

Look at our wr core rn it’s freaking terrible. When you have a deep threat and JT you can keep the defense off balanced when because rn defenses don’t have to respect the deep ball when they play us because we don’t have a vertical threat so everyone is just gonna pile up to stop JT.

It's never "all" on anyone. However I think a vast majority of the offensive problems start at our QB. Now you can argue he isn't fully recovered, our receivers suck, etc.. and you would probably be right on a lot of it... But that doesn't mean he isn't where the problem starts because irregardless of all that, he is not playing well either

I didn’t say he was playing well and I really thinks he needs help I think he shouldn’t have rushed back to the field So quick I respect the desire he has and his toughness but sometimes you just gotta take it slow.
