A Few Pics from Cal
Met up with some close friends from my time at Clemson to attend the game. Bonus pics from our Saturday trip across the Golden Gate, into Sausalito, and up close with Alcatraz. Great time in the Bay area!

How filled was the stadium?

Maybe 60%. You could sit anywhere. That said, the stadium is super small so even if you had bad seats the view was still good

Agreed, I'd say just over half full. You could see plenty of gold benches, and it cleared out even more after halftime. I could tell kids were going to start partying even though the game wasn't decided yet. Definitely a different culture with regard to football there

Memorial Stadium is 63,000 (Clemson is 82,000). Maybe on the smaller end by SEC or Big 10 standards, but not quite "super small," I'd say.
It's never full, though. Sigh.

This is one of my favorite places to visit. I love when cities have water and natural features as a part of them, it's very scenic. That walk into Sausalito was amazing though, literally like something out of a movie coming around the curve and all those houses in the hills coming into view. Beautiful area, planning to go back sometime next year.
Edit: And +1 for the weather, it feels like early fall most of the time...

Honestly it’s too bad Clemson doesn’t get to experience as many huge southern atmospheres as they would in the sec. Was never in the chips. Can’t imagine having cal as an actual conference co-member
