Some of my placements could trigger a few people, so I wanna clarify that this is just my opinion. Ur completely free to not agree with me. Also, sakura's placement is based on her illustration from y2v5, when she was leaving, because that's how she actually looks like. This list isn't ranked from best to worst in any category

The conversation between Amasawa and Ayanokoji was so sad when you know Amasawa’s background🥺🥺🥺

From Shiraishi’s perspective, isn’t it incredibly annoying how Nishikawa keeps saying all sorts of things to Ayanokōji?
It seems she’s started calling her “Nishikawa-san” now.
I’m also curious to see how the relationship between Nishikawa and Shiraishi develops from here!
Would it be going too far to say something like:
“If she keeps doing nothing but getting in Ayanokōji’s way, Shiraishi might…” ?

The girl in the Toranoana bonus SS is so cute, isn’t she?
I wonder if she’s the girl from the treadmill plotline?? I was expecting her to be a bit more boyish, or to have a sharper, more serious gaze, maybe influenced by Utomiya!!
I can’t believe the first-year boys, Maki and Kusanagi, might have gotten absolutely beaten up by such a cute girl 😭

Okay , well there’s a thought going around in my mind right now that everyone has same brain capacity has same functions , so where does this change of being extremely intellectual, grasping information very efficiently, understanding extremely complex topics that some people can’t even comprehend , communication , being influential - when and how is this gap
created.
Also is there any way to actually achieve this kind of brain capacity and behavior
If you want this any point of life or it works only if there’s a certain level of conditioning done in the childhood ( like Ayanokoji from classroom of elite)

I've been thinking about this for a while. Ayanokoji has helped a lot of people develop throughout the series, especially Horikita, but I wonder how much they've actually grown on their own.
Horikita is a good example. She's definitely not the same person she was at the start, but Ayanokoji has been guiding her from behind the scenes for a long time. Without him, would she have developed the way she did?
I feel like this applies to other characters too. Ayanokoji puts people in situations where they can grow, but at the same time he's usually the one controlling things in the background. Sometimes it feels like he's helping them become better while also making sure they still need him.
Thats why I'm really curious about what will happen in Y3V5, especially with Ayanokoji being on house arrest. This might be the perfect opportunity to see how much the others have actually learned and whether they can handle things without his help. Of course, we still have to wait and see how things play out, but I think it'll be interesting if the volume explores this.

Given the rules, rewards, and penalties, along with the fact that they isolated Kiyo so that he couldn't participate in the exam; it would serve to develop the dynamics and characters of each class along the plot of the Second Grade, functioning as the regular .5 volume acting as a setup, but since this isn't the case, there might be something more.
Due to the apparent lack of risk of expulsion and the absence of variation in the fluctuation of class points within the same grade, there is no need for cooperation and along with the exhaustion caused by spending a week on the uninhabited island, it would result in that only the diligent students would participate taking it seriously.
Therefore, at the end of the first day, in order to motivate the students, the school will reveal/add a rule penalizing the defeated side: that among the students who have lost twice, one or all of them will be expelled.
Now that the whole plot of the Third Year seems to revolve around Hiyori; she will be one of those eliminated or only just her, triggering a conflict within both sides as they fight and sabotage amongts themselves with some wanting to save her and others wanting her expelled, concluding with Nanase and/or Ichika becoming the martyr:
-Nanase's motives: She wants to provoke a change in Kiyo's ways that could be triggered by Hiyori's presence; she tried to get both Shiraishi and Ichika on her side so her expulsion might shift their stance; Housen might behave more wildly and recklessly without someone by his side; just like Arisu, she could exert influence from the outside should the plot required it.
-Ichika’s Motives: She doesn't have/know the purpose of her life nor does she have a stance regarding the feud between Nanase and Ishigami; is aware that Hiyori could/would be targeted; she meet Kiyo previously this one is thrown in quarantine triggering the trope of the unacknowledged last encounter; the treadmill girl who might also be the one who beat those two first grader could potentially be a wroomer becoming her replace/upgrade.

According to the Y3V5 synopsis, the first- and second-years get to request one handicap, and Ayanokoji ends up being completely banned from the special exam.
I get the logic. If I were an underclassman, I wouldn't want to face Ayanokoji either.
But they only get ONE handicap.
And even without him, the third-years still have Horikita, Ryuen, Ichinose, and plenty of other capable students.
So here's my question:
Was removing Ayanokoji actually their smartest move, or did they focus too much on one person?
If you were leading the underclassmen, what handicap would you have chosen instead?
I'm interested in hearing both sides, especially from anyone who thinks banning Ayanokoji was absolutely the right decision.

The last time I read it, it was the end of the second year. The last time I asked—a few months back—people were calling Ayanokoji a fraud or something along those lines. And now they’re debating a new character. Could someone—if they have the patience—give me a summary of the third year so far? I don’t mind spoilers.

Technically it is possible that 2 years after the birth of Ayonokoji, his mother who already met another person got pregnant again and birthed this girl. Idfk this theory is complete bs with no evidence but it’s already been like 26+ volumes and we are introducing a new character as if she’s gonna have any importance to the story. Most likely she’s gonna be some sort of talented character like Amasawa that’s gonna completely lose when she tries to face Ayonokoji then fall for him because he’s Ayonokoji ofc and that’s her entire character, I hope Kinugasa atleast knows how to make her character have some relevance.

I honestly think I'll go back to this style; it's prettier and easier to do.💗
