I have always worn watches with a larger face but really enjoy how sleek this watch is. It’s become my daily driver for work. I’m wondering if you think it’s too small for my wrist or if I’m just struggling to get used to something smaller than I’m used to

Purchased from officialwatchdeals which I have learned is an authorized Citizen dealer for manufacturer refurbished watches

My late grandmother gifted me this watch as a graduation present. I never liked wearing it because it wasn’t sized correctly. Fast forward 23 years, I removed a link, placed it in the sunlight, and voila! It started working again. I performed a calibration reset. I’m sure my grandmother is happy now that I’m wearing it daily.

Project 1: Citizen Eco-Drive E710-H25683 Perpetual Calendar Men’s Watch Two Tone
This one just needed a long sun bath, and I needed an engineering degree to reset, calibrate, and set it!
The champagne dial and two tone bracelet takes me back to late 1990s - very Tag-esque
Project 2: Citizen Eco-Drive E110-K16385
Blue Dial
This one needed a new capacitor. The original owner was pretty tough on it, especially the crystal. I polished it as best as I could by hand.
The integrated hexagonal bracelet makes this watch. I don’t know why we don’t see more of these being made.

What's on my wrist today.

On a folded beads of rice bracelet branded as citizen, its impossible to find info on if it originally came with this model. From 1970 or 1971 has a 28k bph movement and is relatively affordable in good condition on sites like ebay. After going down the rabbit hole I want to get my hands on a few more, especially the 36k bph models.

As the title says. Im not sure because citizen on their official website offers to resize bracelet, but minimum wrist size to chose for this model is 17cm.

The other day I’d already bought a second-hand black Marinaut on a shabby plastic strap and thought it was cool right from the start. All I was really missing was the right titanium strap. But you don’t find those very easily, and when you do, they’re bloody expensive.
And then, last week, I stumbled across this second-hand blue one from 2012 with a titanium bracelet. Titanium, Eco-Drive, Sapphire, blue dial – what more could you want for just over 50 euros? I love that watch.

After chasing him around the world for five years, the Sir is finally mine, though I had to settle for this dial instead of the dark one.
The day I found out my cancer was spreading and I only have months rather than years, this went up for auction. I knew this would be my last chance and I knew I had to have it. I was determined to get it as my final treat.
A new vintage-styled black or cream leather strap, a fresh rechargeable battery, and I'm going to enjoy it for the time I have left.

So, I got tired of winding/setting my two mechanical watches and replacing batteries in others. Taking a break from my Apple Watch, tired of the constant information notices. Back to an eco-drive, just the basics. I just picked this up and couldn’t be happier. I wasn’t a fan of the OEM strap, but that was easily fixed. I go through phases!

Brought it on citizen website. Costed me around 27k. Is it worth it??

My last post was all about "watch surgery"—saving a water-damaged, flea-market Marlboro 2005B chronograph through a full movement swap. But there was a missing half to that story: what actually pushed me to stop procrastinating, hunt down that donor movement, and get my hands dirty?
It was this watch right here—its rare ana-digi sibling, the Marlboro 2005A.
Around my birthday this year, a close friend completely shocked me with a gift. He had no idea I had the analog 2005B sitting dead in a drawer, but he knew I’m a huge Citizen fan in general. He had sourced this 2005A from Japan, and to my absolute delight, it was virtually brand new in NOS condition, complete with its original box and papers 📦✨.
Holding it for the first time was a revelation. It is a super heavy, massive chunk of stainless steel on the wrist 🏋️♂️. The case construction, weight, and overall finishing are remarkably high-grade—for something that originated as a catalog promo piece, the execution is honestly mind-blowing.
I initially tried using this 2005A to cross-reference the race tracks on its bezel and help date the 2005B. Little did I know, the original manual in the box double-functioned as the warranty card with the expiration date printed right on it! But since the paperwork was entirely in Japanese, I completely missed that detail at first :-)
While the 2005B is a purely analog chronograph driven by the Citizen A510 (or Miyota AS10), the 2005A packs the Citizen C460 ana-digi engine. And honestly, what a cool caliber it is! It features world time, a chronograph, a timer, an alarm, and that killer bezel listing the 2005 Formula 1 circuits.
Seeing this pristine 2005A sitting on my desk was the ultimate catalyst. It turned what was once a forgotten flea-market project into a two-piece historical puzzle. I couldn't just leave its analog twin broken in a drawer when the complete 2005 Marlboro F1 catalog pair was sitting right there.
Repair-wise, the 2005A was delightfully boring compared to the 2005B's full movement swap: just a fresh battery, a quick AC reset, and it fired right up 🔋. Finding a replacement C460 module would have been a real nightmare, so I definitely dodged a bullet there!
It feels awesome to finally have both of these 2005-era siblings restored, running, and paired up together in the collection 🫁⏳.

The “closest-to-perfect” watch in my collection. It just doesn’t miss. :)

I love this azure blue colour. Brightens up a dull day that's for sure...
