Just FYI. Early voting is so easy in Hamilton Co if you live anywhere near Norwood especially when they are open 12 hrs a day the last week of October. Never any line just walk right in and it takes 5 minutes.

I am going to repost our event. I would like to apologize for using an AI flyer. That is the flyer I was given and I should have known better than to pass it along. We have ghosts who have worked hard on this event and that flyer was disrespectful to them as artists.
Come join us on an adventure by lantern light! Take a journey into the past by leisurely strolling on the beautiful grounds of the Schoolhouse Restaurant and briefly detouring on the bike trail. You will soon be mesmerized by ghostly figures who appear along the walk. They will intrigue you with informational and entertaining stories of long ago and leave you wanting more.
This season will take us on a walk with the Spirits of '76! You will meet patriots who assisted in the birth of this beautiful nation! We will walk on October 16 & 17!

Here's my bio, sorry it's in the third person: Dan Alten is a charming goofball from Kentucky who has been traveling the country for the past decade doing about 200 shows a year bringing his intelligently surreal bebop nonsense everywhere from theaters to punk basements to art galleries to beloved comedy clubs with a knack for making audiences feel like they're on a good psychedelic trip without the drugs. Like if the Ramones were one guy with a mustache and good jokes. Iggy Pop with puns. Clever chaos. Like Jimi Hendrix lighting fire to a Tik Tok reel live on stage. He has opened for Kyle Kinane, Bobcat, Sam Tallent, Rory Scovel, Sarah Sherman from SNL, Johnny Pemberton, Hari Kondabolu, rapper Open Mike Eagle, DJ Doug Pound & David Leibe Hart from Tim & Eric, various punk bands with silly names, and a guy at an open mic who tried to throw his father’s ashes into the crowd. He has recorded 2 albums, written a zine, and filmed a pilot for an Amazon Prime stand up show that was lost to history. But most importantly he’s very funny and unique. You will enjoy him. And if not you can mud wrestle him after the show.

For a couple years, as a hobby, I would buy beat up stuff and fix it then give it to family and sometimes sell items. Mainly furniture pieces and a few electronics. In the last month or so, the one I go to has had very little furniture and less in general. Yesterday I saw an actual used shovel (paint worn off) that someone purchased.
My assumption is that with the economy, no one is buying larger items and therefore, less returns to end up at Bidfta.

Cincinnati Business Committee, Cincinnati Regional Business Committee and Cincinnati Regional Chamber oppose the Cincinnati Public Schools levy on the Nov. 3 ballot.
The school district's 7-mill levy would raise $66 million annually to address a $59 million budget gap.
Business leaders fear the school levy could jeopardize passage of the Hamilton County children's services levy.

Looking for thrift stores in Cincinnati that benefit animal charities or rescue groups/humane societies. And do they have a good selection?

Deters uses our pain for his gain. Last time, he was at Children's protesting "for Durrani victims" when it was his attention seeking bs for political office run. Now he is trying to get help on his tax issues. Deters uses us as pawns once again by acting like he's trying to help us. He wasn't paying for access about the case. He was paying to get help with his tax & legal issues. Again. Again. Again. Let us move on without your ptsd triggering tactics for your own personal gain. Deters, everyday most of us live in debilitating pain, our lives destroyed. stop retraumatizing us every time you want attention, need a payday, or help with your tax/ legal issues. Just stop.

I’m taking the male loneliness epidemic seriously, yall
I’m interested in joining a fraternal organization: Elks, Moose, Eagles, Odd Fellows, Masons, whatever. I’m open to pretty much anything.
The biggest factor for me is the membership. I’m 50, and I’d like to find a group with an active contingent of guys in the 45–55 age range. Not looking for a lodge where I’m the youngest guy by 20 years.
Ideally, somewhere on the east side of Cincinnati.
Anyone belong to one of these organizations or know of a lodge with a good community? Particularly interested in places where members actually get together regularly and build friendships, rather than just paying dues and attending occasional meetings.

some friends and i are planning to go to a pumpkin patch and here is exactly what we’re looking for:
-open on weekdays (specifically monday)
-a great corn maze
-a petting zoo ofc!!
-preferably less family focused, we’re all in our twenties and none of us have kids we’re just going for ourselves, so it’d be great if it maybe turned into a haunted attraction at night! but i know those don’t usually run on weekdays so we could go without.
-preferably within 20-30 miles from cincinnati but depending on how great it is we might be willing to go a bit farther out.
thanks in advance for any and all advice!
