Hey all!

Anyone know a good cosmetic dentist around here? I'm thinking about veneers but really want someone who does minimal-prep or no-prep. I'd rather not have my teeth shaved down if I can help it.

Bonus points for a modern office with newer tech and a dentist who's done a lot of conservative cosmetic work.

Would love to hear any recs or experiences.

I am taking a cousin who is on the spectrum to the Chanhassen Dinner Theater and am looking at booking one of the booths listed for 2-3 people. They love shows, but also really need privacy, so I just wanted to be sure that this would be a somewhat private booth? We can be around other people, but they would get uncomfortable sharing a table with strangers.

To be specific it is the booth in section 835. Thank you!!!

Now the parade route has changed in the last couple of years, where is everyone parking? Is the Lunda parking lot fair game ?

I’m planning yo go to Paisley Park for a tour in July and want to stay close since I’ll be driving in from Rochester after 3.5 days of treatment at Mayo.

I don’t plan on exploring Minny at this time. Is there anything worth seeing near there?

Just trying to not pay so many nights hotel if possible after so many at Mayo unless really worth it before my 6 hour drive home.

Saturdays 10-11am - Chanhassen City Hall, corner of w78th and Market. Park at City Hall, behind the fire station or Byerly’s but not at store entrance. Sign library at City Hall. At 10:15 the drum will sound and those who want and are able, may march down to Powers Blvd, cross w78th, then walk back to City Hall. It’s about 25 minutes. Be smart & be safe when crossing the street.

1-2pm - Chaska EmmerDoBetter Highway 41 and Hazeltine Blvd. (By Aldi’s). Good protest location for first timers and kids (as you feel appropriate) . Sign library. Every Saturday.

Please, due to the cold, be smart about what you can tolerate. If you’re getting cold after 10 minutes, just protest 10 minutes.

The city council has agreed to continue with the Rec Center by decreasing the amenities because the costs went up. I’ve had always been against it, so I am super bias. What do you think? The Mayer hadn’t given specifics yet just said it’s less. She did say the restaurant is gone.

We will be moving to Canada and need helpers to help us load a 15” truck early morning( 8am) on a Sunday. Not sure if there are any recommendations especially given the time?

My 25 year old townhome in Chaska is tired and now is the time to gut the upstairs full bath to replace the tub with a walk in shower and to refresh the downstairs flooring and cabinets.

Is Mediacom the only ISP available in Chanhassen? I’ve only read poor things about them…but it’s looking like they’re my only option after speaking with other ISPs.

You've probably seen the vans all over. I know I have. Here's my experience switching from Mediacom

Why I switched (vs Mediacom):

1. $80/mo vs $125/mo (supposedly "standard" is $100, but I never called to ask for a lower price)
2. 1000/1000 download & upload vs 500/30 download & upload
3. Free installation (because we're considered rural and the state pays for it or something)
4. I had a lot of outages with Mediacom

Cons of switching:

1. We installed at the end of January but they still haven't buried our fiber optic cable; I got an email saying they won't bury ours before May 1 now :/
2. They left the cable laying on the ground and a rabbit chewed through it. Took the internet down until a tech replaced it.
3. They had to drill a new hole through the wall instead of using the existing cable's hole
4. The online support "Assistant" can be hard to navigate if you have a specific problem. It takes a while to speak to a real person

More details:

• I was interested in Metronet, but an online support rep said they are waiting on permits and it would be months.
• Mediacom would have been closer in price if I called to ask for a discount and the plans on their website quote higher speeds than the plan I was on
• Xfinity price is guaranteed for 2 years I think. The Verge says they introduced a 5-year lock for new customers so I wonder if I don't qualify. I don't know how long Mediacom guarantees their intro rate
• *Free 12 months of phone service* (saving a lot with this). $20 per additional line
• An Xfinity tech says it's the city's fault it's taking so long to bury cables. He says no other city requires a separate permit for every cable going through every home's lawn
• Instead of signing up when a sales guy came to my door, I got his phone number and texted him all my questions. I found that a lot more pleasant than talking over the phone with pushy reps.

TL;DR

I'm glad I switched - faster, cheaper, and fewer outages so far.The free + discounted phone lines are saving me a lot of money.

So I have 4-5in curly hair and am looking for a stylist who can just work their magic on me. I have no idea how to style it and want someone who will just take the lead and start cutting how they think it’ll look good with limited input from me.
