By the way if you want to know I bought him and changed his enclosure since 19 September and I bought his bigger enclosures since 26 September

Hi guys, itās my first time owning a chameleon I did a ton of research here and online I was also watching this yt channel chameleon Neptune? Maybe you can tell me if itās any good.
Sheās a female panther around 5/6 months old.
Iāve had her for 2,5 weeks now.
Iāve been feeding her small dubia roaches which was recommended by the seller but Iām in the middle of buying those jumping ones (idk how theyāre called in English).
I was giving her water with pipette but she wasnāt a fan, she had a pebble waterfall but wasnāt interested in it so I switched to homemade dripper. Now sheās investigating it but since sheās not the brightest she didnāt see that water droplets fall down.
Iām misting a few times a day.
I know that I should switch from bulb uvb to those longer ones but I bought as an alternative because those were sold out. So it should arrive in a few days.
When it comes to her warm place Iām measuring her temperature with laser (her back only) and I think itās alright - mostly 30,5 C
She used to climb metal net so I had to make more distance between the bulb and net so she wonāt get burned. Now sheās only staying where she should.
What else⦠?
So she switched her skin which went smoothly only took her a few hours.
She pooped twice and it indicates that sheās slightly dehydrated so Iāve been giving roaches more water veggies and thatās why I switched to dripper.
I tried giving her live plants but she tried to eat the dirt so I took it out and now she only has plastic vines she doesnāt eat it luckily.
I think that vines should be more spread out so she doesnāt feel cramped but i didnāt want to stress her out so I left it for now.
And also egg bin will be added in like a week or something because I want to to a little more research.
And lastly she seems happy sheās walking around, she eats normally, she explores, she doesnāt like being taken out yet but I think she needs to get used to me a little more. She learned to āpuff upā her neck which scared me a little for the first time.
Let me know what you think but please be kind š
Iām doing the best I can and Iām really worried about hurting her or something so if you can give me any helpful advice I will be very grateful

Hello guys! My veiled chameleon is about 2 months old now! Weighs about 15 grams. And I am wondering when to start introducing new food types to him. Iāve basically only had him on crickets as I didnāt believe anything larger could fit in his mouth safely. At about what size/age should I begin introducing Dubias, worms, etc? And Iām currently feeding him about 10-15 crickets a day. Should I continue feeding that much? Or less?

(First off, I apologize for posting here quite a bit the last few days, but I just like getting other peopleās help with her)
This is Ozzie. Sheās a female veiled chameleon who I believe is around 3-4 months old (they unfortunately didnāt have an exact DOB when I got her)
Ive been trying to hand feed her every day in the hopes that itāll build up trust, but most of the time she wonāt accept it, and even when she will itās only ever when I use the tongs seen in the video.
For around every 4 times I try hand feeding her, she only goes for it about once, and again, even then itās only ever with the tongs.
I should say that this isnāt a problem about her not eating in general, as she will hunt and eat the bugs I put in her cage, and she doesnāt seem malnourished at all. Iām just wanting to see if yall have any tips on how I can hand feed her and/or build trust in general.
I should say that I donāt believe she is fully stressed out or scared, as she wonāt run away or hide from me and she almost never has the spots that indicate that she is stressed. Iād say itās just that sheās more so cautious of me currently.
This could also be because Iāve had to make some improvements to her cage over the last few days, so that might also be why sheās cautious of me.
I know that this is also because sheās still pretty young and so probably more cautious, but I figure that itās also really important that I try to build trust in her growing months.
Sorry if that this was a pretty long post for a not too urgent issue, and I should say that I believe she is perfectly happy and healthy in every other sense (though obviously tell me if you notice anything about her that seems to say other wise).
Any advice on either how to hand feed her or how to build trust with her in general is appreciated!

Iām pretty sure heās a boy, but Google keeps telling me heās a girl, so Iām just confused.
Also, best way to care for them? Iām sure heās around 2-3 months. He doesnāt like mealworms, but will gobble up crickets quick. He comes to the glass whenever heās hungry, about two-3 times a day, and eat around 5-6 at a time.
How many times should I be misting his terrarium? How long should the light/heat source stay on?
Any information is greatly appreciated! I want to give this little guy the best environment to be and get old in.

Just finished my DIY enclosure! Spent about a week working on this for my beautiful girl. Just wanted to get everyone's input on my water cup placement, I've only had her for 2 days now and I haven't caught her drinking from it. I have a dripper set up to drip into the cup every few minutes. Should it be higher?

Hey guys I got a chameleon recently. He is a year old and came with a 18x18x36in tank. This is obviously to small and Iām wanting to upgrade him. Iām all honesty I donāt really want to spend $300+ on a new tank when they seem so simple to build. Has anyone built their own? What materials did you use? Iām think of using 1x1 wood dowels and think metal window screen. My main concern is that on top where the heat goes the screen will melt/catch fire so if anyone has a brand recommendation that would be awesome!

I learned that Hawaiāi and Maui had wild Jacksonās chameleons and made it a goal to find some to photograph during our trip!
Found a female and male during a rain, both were Gorgeous and friendly, and made us want to buy a chameleon in the future!

Ive had chameleons in the past, usually just a vieled or Jackson. Bought a baby panther at the reptile show. Put two cages together and it works great. All the mist and fog run down into the glass section. Still need to add a few more branches, will eventually buy an extra large screen cage when he's a bit bigger but this is good for now. I need names!

I went to two local reputable pet shops in my area that have panthers. One shop went into great length on how, with proper ātrainingā, they can be handled quite frequently. They other shop said the exact opposite and that handling should be avoided as much as possible , as it is too stress inducing.
After doing my own research, I feel that I am in still not getting a clear picture on what is appropriate, and best for the animals. We were hoping they would tolerate and even enjoy frequent handling, but of course want to do the right thing and not stress these beautiful creatures . Thanks in advance for your input!

This is Ozzie. I donāt know her exact age, but given her size Iād guess around 3-4 months old.
I was wondering how much I should feed her in a day, in terms of crickets and/or small dubia roaches.
I tried looking it up but keep getting varying answers, and I know feeding chameleons the correct amount can be difficult since they cannot feel full and will keep eating. Add onto that the difficulty of that she is a juvenile and therefore must eat a good bit a day in order to grow correctly.
Does anyone know how many crickets and/or small dubia roaches I should feed her each day?

Hey guys I just got this Chameleon as a rehome from FB marketplace. Heās about a year old and seems to be in decent health but I believe he is dehydrated. Based on his eyes being slightly sunken in. I haven had any luck getting him to drink. I have a dropper I set up to drip off a leaf and he hasnāt drank from that I also tried dripping water from my spray bottle right infront of him and still nothing. I donāt think the previous owners had a fogger for night for him im sure thatās part of the issue. Iām going to get one tonight but any other suggestions are appreciated. Iām gonna try and feed some horn worms since they are hydrating.
Sorry for the bad picture itās the only one I have.
(He is in a 18x18x36 rn thatās what he came in but he will be getting an upgrade shortly)
Edit- the previous owner said he really enjoys eating the pothos could that be due to dehydration?

First time taking care of a chameleon. Iāve taken care of reptiles before but I know chameleons can be much more difficult.
Sheās a female veiled chameleon, and I wasnāt able to get an exact age, but based on how big she is, Iād wager around 3-4 months old.
She seems to be doing well, as her colors have seemed good and regular, and sheās been eating, drinking, and sleeping regularly.
Iād just like to make sure that nothings wrong with her or her cage.
Right now, her cage is 18 x 18 x 36. Iāll most likely get a bigger one when she gets bigger, but again, she seems happy with it right now.
I also made sure that all the plants inside are non toxic.
I also feed her crickets and (small) dubia cockroaches, have a flowing water source in the cage, two 50 w bulbs and 1 UVB light about 6 inches away from the very top of the cage and around 10 inches away from her usual basking spot, and I have a mister that I use at night.
Let me know if thereās anymore info that can help.
Any advice is helpful. Again, she seems happy and healthy right now, but Iād like to make sure Iām doing everything right.
(Also, her cage is not a glass cage, only the door is clear plastic. The other sides are mesh)
(Also also, in case you were curious, her name is Ozzie)

I have a female veiled chameleon that is around 3-4 months old and I recently just got done upgrading her cage.
I believe everything about the cage is good except that Iām a bit concerned about her current water source.
One, it seems to either keep jamming or is leaking as itāll stop flowing every 2-3 days. I know itās not just her drinking all of it as she would be drinking several times her body weight.
Two, itās fairly small and has to be at the bottom of the cage. This isnāt a big issue right now as sheās small enough to drink from it and I have seen her drinking from on a regular basis (which btw, sheās in no way dehydrated right now and is very healthy, so donāt worry) but once she gets bigger there is no way itāll be big enough, and Iām sure she doesnāt want to have to climb down to the bottom every time she wants to drink.
Does anyone have recommendations for a reliable flowing water source? Iād prefer something pre built, but if I have to DIY it thatās fine.
(Also I didnāt include a picture as I couldnāt think of anything thatād really help, but if yall need to see a pic of her cage or something let me know)

Hey yall, iām buying a hatchling from PetSmart (hate big corporations I know) I already have a six month old male veiled chameleon. I recently upgraded him to a larger size so I still have the standard size empty. I was planning to just decorate it up and light it the same way I lit my other. Anything that I need to know about that differs from a six month old?
