The code is unclear and unlike most others at the time. My best guess is w stands for waist, pp stands for painter and plasterer because they used the term for some pants https://imgur.com/a/iMPmWrY , and t is twill because the alternate duck version uses the code d instead. These were likely not sold in America so a weird code is not odd, also likely mainline didn't even give them a product name for similar reasons.
The color 77 I have seen people claim to be natural, cream, or silver. I would guess since it isn't duck it likely does not relate to any of the normal duck colors at the time like natural but could be a close alternative off white and share the name. Cream would make sense since wip could have just given it a cool sounding name like they did with most others. Could be silver for the same reasons. Wppd17 I assume is a related duck version. Questions or help needed Warmth on 104050?

I picked up a 104050 for winter field geology in Nevada. However, there's a fair bit of variation in temperature in NV depending on where the worksite is located within the state, and I don't know right now what setting and elevation I'll be at.
Does anyone have experience with the 104050 in 50-60 degree weather (10-15 degree C)? A bit worried it'll be too warm for the work I'll be doing if I end up in NV basins/south NV.

I’ve had this J97 for a while, it’s a size Large, but I’m wondering if I should look into getting a Medium instead. For reference I’m 5’10”, 190-195lb depending on the day.
I feel like the large fits okaaayyy. Sleeves are a bit long, very roomy, chest feels perfect when the zipper is closed.
I’m wondering if a medium might be a better fit though, maybe not so much room in the arms and slightly more of a crop?
Idk, does it look okay or should try to size down? Would a medium be too tight? I usually just wear a light sweatshirt or a tshirt underneath.
