So in hindsight it would’ve been better if we didn’t and instead went through qualifying like normal

Per an article in the Guardian today, Vini Jr is claiming he did not pull, but “got tangled” in Saliba’s hair. Gave me a good laugh.

EDIT: Added Larin to recently returning from injury.

Defenders:

Moise Bombito (injured with Nice)

Derek Cornelius (injured at MNT Training)

Luc de Fougerolles (injured with Real Salt Lake)

Alistair Johnston (injured with Celtic)

Alfie Jones (injured with Middlesbrough)

Midfielders:

Ismael Koné (injured vs. Qatar)

Jeevan Badwal (injured with Whitecaps)

Stephen Eustaquio (injured vs. USA)

Wingers:

Marcelo Flores (injured with Tigres)

Ali Ahmed (injured with Norwich)

This list doesn't even include players who are semi-recently returning from injury: Alphonso Davies, Cyle Larin, Ralph Priso, Jonathan Osorio, Promise David, Zorhan Bassong

Ontario Process on moving a player to another team at the start of the season/mid-year?

I want to preface this by stating that we are not leaving the club (yet) just trying to know our options and find the Ontario Soccer rules overly complicated.

Our u11 joined a new club. The new club is well known and tied to a big organization, so it seemed promising. However as we're now in it, there are some things that are making us question the move. There is also a personal reason we are considering a move.

We'd like to give it more time and see how our kiddo feels about the situation before making a decision. Can someone with experience let us know how to request a release of a player in Ontario, so that they can play for another club? Do we speak to our current club first and let them know we'd like to leave, or can we reach out to other clubs first to see if there is opening (I can think of two that would likely make him an offer).

Have there been instances at this age where a player isn’t released early in the season? I don’t want to do anything that may hurt our kids chances at playing this year. Which honestly sucks to have to consider since he’s 10 and not a professional player.

Ontario Can you play in an unsanctioned and sanctioned team at the same time?

I’ve spoken to parents who say that some players play in both sanctioned and unsanctioned teams at the same time. Is this allowed? And how do you even make that double schedule even work?

Anyone Know If Dapo Afolayan is CanMNT Eligible?

Does anyone know if Dapo Afolayan is eligible to play for Canada or could he eventually play for Canada. He moved here when he was 15 and even went to UofT for a year. He's played in the Bundesliga and is having a great start to the Championship season so far.

Received my Canada Red membership gift in the mail today. Not sure what I expected but definitely didn’t expect a flag.

EDIT: For folks asking, I have the Premier Tier membership ($150). I certainly hope it’s something more for the folks with a higher tier.
