Would it be possible to run Clair Obscur using the following specs

I don't have a gaming PC and saw this one selling for ~$200 and thought that if it could run clair obscur or elden ring then it's be quite the catch. I mainly play indie games anyways but these were games that I was very interested in trying out (alongside lies of P)

The specs are below:

i7-4770 @ 3.4 GHz

GTX 1060 6GB

16GB RAM

224GB SSD + ~932GB HDD

The main problem seemed to be with the CPU when I checked with ChatGPT and I wanted to see your guys' thoughts.

Elden ring with low settings at 1080p. You’ll probs get the 40fps but it’ll be playable. Clair obscure not a chance. And if it does run it’ll be super rough. At this point just buy and Xbox series s or something bro.

Honestly Elden ring at 40 FPS was much better than I thought, so that's a win right there. Honestly 1080p gaming with 30 FPS feels good to me. Appreciate the insight :)

For sure. 30 fps is fine. But Claire obscure probably won’t run on that thing

No. This will not run clair obscur, maybe elden ring but good luck.

No, simply because of it being a UE5 game and a somewhat demanding one at that.

Three things make a big difference. (Just built one like that). Your mobo might have xmp in bios. Turn it on. Upgrade to 32mb ram, ddr3 is still cheap. Get a cheap pcie/ssd adapter, and a second ssd for game storage. It will be 3 or more times faster than the sata ssd. Some newer games work better from fast ssd than hdd.

It will struggle to run co not because of people are saying. Gtx 1060 is a dx11 card and co is dx12. You could try but it might be rough.

Well if you have good enough internet, Geforce now is technically free.

I don't know about Claire obscure but I ran elden ring at about 60 FPS with my laptop. My laptop was not that good, just 13th gen i5, 3050 6gb and 8gb of ram. I think you could run elden ring without much problem.

That would be rough. My daughter's laptop has a kind of equivalent CPU to that and a GTX1650 and E33 runs like crap. I think you'd be more CPU bound than GPU actually. Not to mention there's zero upgrade path for that rig so it's a bad decision on many levels. I'd pass if I were you.
