I like to overland and use a ground tent, low to the ground cot and Exped air mattress. I use a sleeping bag currently but always looking to improve. I’ve always wondered about camping blankets. What’s the pros vs cons to traditional sleeping bags? Do you just put a sheet over mattress then blanket? I like to reduce the size of my equipment in the back of my truck.

Been traveling for a while now, and this is how I keep my food and drinks organized.

I decided to get dedicated camp blankets. I saw these were well recommended in this sub, so I got 2 queens! I'll get to use them on my camping trip next week to Elijah Clark. SP Ready for cooler weather!
