Where in cameroon are there fancy five star hotels apart from doula and yaounde? Would these be the only two cities that have fancy five star hotels and if so, how far away are these cities from limbe?? I would like to visit cameroon in the distant future...

Bonjour,
Merci beaucoup!

Hi everyone,
I'll be in Dschang from October 26 to November 12, then in Douala from November 13 to 23. I speak French and English fluently, so feel free to answer in either.
A few questions:
Tailoring: is getting clothes made by a tailor really common practice in Cameroon, or is it more for special occasions? Can you recommend a good tailor in Dschang, ideally someone who works with toghu or ndop?
Prices: what's a fair average price for a made-to-measure suit and for made-to-measure trousers? I'd like to have an idea before negotiating.
Events: are there any festivals or cultural events around Dschang or Douala during my dates?
Douala nightlife: which areas, bars or clubs would you recommend? Any places to avoid?

Hi everyone,
I’m from Jordan and I’m planning to visit Cameroon sometime this month as a backpacker and content creator.
I would like to know:
How much does a Cameroon visa cost for Jordanian citizens?
How long does the visa process usually take?
Is the e-visa system working well?
Has anyone from Jordan or the Middle East recently applied and received a visa?
I would also appreciate any tips about safety, transportation, and budget travel in Cameroon.
Thanks in advance!

While traveling around the world for over 20 years, I’ve been working on my dream project: creating a one-stop resource for travellers. With the help of feedback in this subreddit, I have now updated this interactive map of Cameroon for anyone who is interested in visiting (with detailed info for every highlight).
PS: obviously, I haven’t been able to travel to all places. So if you know some great spot, I haven’t listed, let me know! Much appreciated as in this way I can make the overview more complete and up-to-date for everyone.

Hello everyone, well I'm a Cameroonian citizen living in Spain and my son ,who's 15,got the Spanish citizenship 3 years ago but his Cameroonian passport expired just after that.He was 12/13 at that moment.
So now I want to go with him to Cameroon and I see that renew his ancient passport is the best, but since he become Spanish, his name and surnames changed a bit.
Do you know if I have to change his Cameroonian Acte de naissance before doing his new passport here in Spain,or just ask for a renewal and go with him?
I was also thinking in getting him a visa and do a passport directly in Cameroon,so we could get it in "3 days", but idk if its feasable.
Any help will be aprreciated!!

Who's ever been to mount fako? I think every Cameroonian should go there atleast once in their life. 😁

Hey everyone! I’m excited to share that I’ll be traveling from Germany to Cameroon in February next year with a close friend who’s originally from there but hasn’t been back in a while. We’re both super eager to experience all that Cameroon has to offer—its culture, food, and especially the people!
Since I’d love to connect with locals and possibly make new friends (or more than friends), I’d be thrilled if anyone could recommend the best spots to meet people, both online and offline. Are there specific dating apps or websites that are popular in Cameroon? Or maybe local forums, communities, or events where I could meet open-minded folks interested in meeting up?
Also, if you have any tips for cool hangouts, vibrant communities, or even must-see places in Cameroon, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks in advance, and feel free to DM me if you want to connect before I arrive!
