Kata and all the other mods are banned, and Mrrp got the owner role back!

Even someone like fabsol had the decency left in him to leave so long as the mod lived on

3 months ago I met this guy in a Roblox game server and before he got banned there we had a 1v1, now what I wanna know is if anyone could show me his discord user so I know if this was the actual guy or a fake

I want to play calamity with 2 other friends and 1 of them have never played it so, he want to discover it first alone and i understand that part, but currently he is just copying builds from a youtuber (gold hawk) 😭💀 and he is literally copying block per block its so frustrating, now he thinks he can build (never saw someone as delusional as him) 🤯 he is currently pre wof 🥀

They hacked the server and it would never gave back the comunnity even if the server is shutdown the main devs are worse people the music would be gone the mod is actually tainted is like the crimson from terraria that spreads but this one take over everything

According to inner sources, the Calamity Mod Discord server has been reacquired by Mrrp following intervention from Discord support staff.

This is not misinformation, nor another fake out.

A few things of note, as I’ve been observing the situation from Discord unfold and resolve:

- Do not harass or victim blame Mrrp. A lot of you are guilty of this and are wildly ignorant and apathetic of the situation that unfolded. It’s entirely too easy to judge a situation in retrospect. Just because you wouldn’t fall for it does not mean others can’t, especially given the level of manipulation involved. Have empathy for someone other than yourself.

- Further clarification is that nobody was “hacked”. There was no hacking involved. There was no phishing involved. This was purely a case of social engineering. Anyone who tells you it was hacked or phished is misinformed. Accounts and or sources for public information (the wiki, GitHub, etc.) are not at risk.

- Do not rejoin the server expecting everything to be returned to the way it was. All channels were deleted, and Discord does not keep backups of channels/messages/etc. for rollbacks. Anyone who tells you this is misinformed.

- Do not spread blatant conspiracies or misinformation. I’ve seen many claims from random discord users across the channels saying things such as “Ozzatron employed Kata!” or “we know Kata’s real identity”. A. This doesn’t even matter, and B. You all have little to no proof. It doesn’t help to spread random claims when so many are trying to understand the situation. Read and think critically before you repeat things; it’s a useful skill.

- The mod and its status remain unaffected as a result of this incident at this time. Though I’d imagine this would likely reaffirm the developers’ intent to not continue with the mod.

Proof:
1. Current stated owner is Mrrp, it is their account.
2. Multiple former developers have confirmed this to be true, including the Fables Discord and a splinter server I am part of, of which Mrrp is in both and can easily deny it if it were false.

I’m banned from the Calamity server because of the incident with the hack (I sent an invite link to a server that wasn’t hacked) and if it’s actually getting revived, any chance I could be unbanned? Please? 🙏 🥺

Don’t wanna out my Discord handle on a public post but if any mods of the server see this then DM me on here I guess? Or comment and I’ll see how to do it cause I don’t use reddit insanely often 😭

Calamity staff here, the rumors are true, Discord has responded to our cries for help and ownership of the Calamity Discord server has been transferred back to Mrrp, and we are currently working on getting the server set back up. There will be an announcement by staff of this Reddit here soon/later to confirm this, until then you can check the Calamity: Fables server, which has never been compromised, and notice that many of us are also staff on that server, which should provide enough in the way of proof until an official announcement is made here.

It’s been awhile, around 60 days since the Scars of Calamity situation. For those of you who don’t know, scars of calamity was yet another remake mod that emerged from Calamity’s downfall. The Owner, Niaomi_lazuli, a 17 year old. was found out to have been sexting and exchanging nudes with a 14 year old dev on his team, also using his position to try and silence and manipulate her when she wished to speak out. Niaomi has admitted to this and since been Banned from all Main calamity discords after TikiWiki(Cal Mod) and Fluffy(WotG mod) reviewed the evidence.

DISCLAIMER: Let me stop you here for a second. You can look at this and say “a 3 year age gap isn’t that weird” or “this technically isn’t an illegal relationship in most parts of the world”. This isn’t about the morals of a 17yr and 14yr dating. This is about the predatory abuse of power and the exchanging of Illegal material. A 3 year age gap between minors is very fucking weird IMO. Since the victim (Flandre) has since deleted all social media for her own mental health, censoring of her name isn’t necessary. I have been granted full permission on her behalf to discuss publicly about the situation, although I have no contact with her now.

I was personally involved in this case. The victim came to me specifically and informed me of this wrong relationship. It was heartbreaking and shocking to hear. She knew it was wrong yet still thought it was love, but above all else, she wanted the mod she worked so hard on to not crumble apart, and he exploited that vulnerability.

Deleted (the main dev of Ashes of Calamity, he’s another Piece of filth still in the community who’ll I’ll need to make another post on) took these screenshots and leaked them to Niaomi to help cover up the situation. Niaomi then confronted The victim with them.

This post was made in 30m and obviously rushed, I have so much more to share. I have put days into doing all the initial research and activism months ago and it’s taken so much out of me. I thought that if I trusted that he’d be banned completely from the community that it would be okay, but I was wrong. Niaomi is back in the community, interacting and posting while people are unaware of his actions, and he’s apparently making a Mod called Annihilation. I am terrified that another innocent person will be found victim of his disgusting mind. Please don’t let this situation be buried, please don’t let him get away with this. It’s late but I will respond to comments when I can.

The community needed a reset anyway after fab and ozz, sure he didnt do it in the best way, but he gave it the fresh start it needed, and made some money as any one of you would have done in his position. I just don’t get the hate

I think we are way too focused on making a successor to calamity, when we should be focusing our efforts into making a mod to surpass calamity.

played through infernum for the first time and went mage, and i was struggling with yharon when i saw that the wyrm has some really good stuff so i went for it expecting an even harder battle but beat it in 2 attempts, then proceeded to absolutely destroy yharon, but im sure i couldve fought it wayyyy earlier and just cheesed most of post moon lord, it really needs to be made harder

Hey guys I’m new to the mod, I’ve played a bit of it in a server of a friend but with all the info about the mod and all the different mods with plug ins and extensions of Calamity in steam I have no fck idea what to download and how to play it correctly.

Can y’all tell me what mods/plug ins should I play with to have a good experience?
