This truck has parked like crap every time I see it.
Luckily the past few times it hasn't parked next to me.
I come back to my car from the Well and see this BS. I want to leave a note, but I feel like that won't do much and I'm afraid of retaliation.

Controversial Opinion Be honest with me, the Mandatory Fees are rising with each semester, is this inflation?

Am I the only one complaining about the sudden rise of fees each semester here at Sac State? I hear a lot about the sports department and the Well needing extra money for their stuff (2025) okay fine, but why are the Mandatory fees increasing so much like look at the instructional related fees, in 2021-2024 it was $8 but in 2025 it's $184, that's a whole jump and now it's $256 in 2026 and onward like what?. Like the ASI events as well, $75(2021) to $94(2026) last thing I heard was that the events were mostly the same as ever, was it bigger or better this year or no? They have been increasing each year for about $3 to $4 dollars. What about the student health and counseling fees? I have only went there one time, to be honest it was a good experience, but $198 (2026) is just what? Yeah free sure buddy, we know we're paying more and more each semester yearly. Those who take advantage of this, TAKE ADVANTAGE of this. I'm no idiot but I do get "free" stuff here and there around campus and is provided resources like the Library, rentals, and using the well a few times, going to events, and all but this is just too much. How would any new or transfer student survive here at Sac State. We haven't even talked about tuition being added in with all those fees. I get it $6000 is a lot of money, but most students don't even have a job let alone financial aid that doesn't cover that much, from the way it looks well would be given nothing at this point. The whole scheme of things is that all of this together, is more than $7000 to pay right now to be in school with a full time status. We are left with what, like around $400 to spend. There are many times were lucky enough to even be refunded before due dates but have you ever gotten times where you'll get a payment in your bank account only to be jumpscare that you need to pay for tuition later as if epub doesn't automatically pay your tuition the moment you get your money but you also have to manage your spendings now. I get it, money is a part of your future plan, but you want to know what else isn't a part of the plan? Failure. Now I don't want to worry you guys as you've taken the time to read this whole rant basically, but all I'm trying to say is keep up with what your really paying for sac state, It looks unfair really and honestly there might be reasons why it increase but wholeheartedly, check how much your spending and plan for your time here if your planning to enroll or stay in Sac State for like forever for some reason idk. This was made to be a sort of rant or discussion so you do you if you want to make a speech.

Prospective Student Online note suggestions?

Hey everyone! I've always been a traditional paper-and-pen note-taker, but I'm looking to switch to digital notes.

Does anyone have recommendations for an app or website where I can:

-Take notes directly on PowerPoint slides and PDF articles like this picture

-Keep everything organized in one notebook or file (readings, lecture slides, and my personal notes together)

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Financial Aid/Scholarship/Tuition/Etc Received another financial aid disbursement.

• Upvotes

I received an email yesterday notifying me that my financial aid had been disbursed. Initially, I was confused and assumed the notification might have been sent in error. However, when I checked my bank account today, I noticed that I had received an e-refund. I was under the impression that financial aid refunds were typically issued once per semester, about a week before the semester begins, as that was my experience previously. I was wondering if this additional refund is normal or if there has been a change to my financial aid disbursement schedule. I apologize for any confusion, but I would appreciate some clarification regarding why I received another e-refund and whether it is related to an adjustment to my financial aid package or a separate disbursement.
