mine is “I feel like if I’m not saying something humorous then I’m just wasting everybody’s time when I talk” from hanging out with my mom in women’s apparel off of 2

Found on Depop but it got sold before I could afford it. It has the CSH tag but I can't find anything like it anywhere else.

I am an freshly 18, pretty depressed bi guy, in an great and happy relationship with a trans guy, but for some reason this album has resonated me like no others have ever

Its like a safe space to me, I first listened to it 1,5months ago and i know almost every lyric by heart

I feel like this album understands my sadness, like when im in a bad episode I just put it on and like i can scream my lungs out to beach death and feel better

Its my favorite art piece ever, my brother got it on vinyl for me for my 18th birthday, it sounds amazing

I have also listened to Teens Of Denial and How To Leave Town, and even though I enjoy both of these ( espcially How To Leave Town), they havent stuck with me the same way as this album does

I could write so much more, its the most relatable art piece i have ever seen, like every lyric is so real, it all sounds so good

Before my favorite band was The Strokes but now its CSH, I cant understand how something this good and relatable was made, I love it so so much

my new csh tattoo. i love nervous young man album, especially broken birds song! and my partner love this song too soooo yea🤓

sorry for the quality i dropped it in my bathtub of acid

Super happy with this one I had one of my online friends do the drums. Also, not sure if I've mentioned this before on this sub, but I make a ton of original music under the name Ranger, so if you like any of the covers I put out or just car seat in general, you might like that

It’s kinda lofi🦉

I was reminded of it recently, went to go check it, and found out it was deleted. Does anyone have it archived or a new version of it? Or is it just forever gone :(

Recently I’ve been trying to listen through Car Seat Headrest’s full discography, starting from the numbered albums. But while going in order, I want to listen to all Will Toledo has made. I know about Nervous Young Men and Mr Yay Okay vaguely, but that’s about it. If anyone has a list of every artist he’s been or even links/a shared doc to listen to every song that would be appreciated!

Bonus: I also want to look for the original album 5 before it got turned into MBIKMB and any other song that he got rid of thats lost media

tomodachi life might be dead but stoneytrait is forever

also as soon as i made trait i introduced them to eachother and they became friends almost instantly i didn’t even know miis could become friends so soon

you guys are really liked my arts.... im so happy 😭

I was looking through the CSH tracker, when I stumbled across a section which listed a bunch of (like 5) demos for the canceled "Wave Goodbye to the Jets". Here, I learned that "Way Down", a track meant for the album, was later retooled into a section of "Reality" off The Scholars. This had me wondering, "What other demos/unreleased songs could find their place in a future Car Seat album, one way or another?"

Personally, I've got my money on "So Mein" rearing its big beautiful head in some form (if you haven't listened to it before, I really recommend doing so; it's pretty much only a snippet but like hooooolllyyyy shiiiiiit is it a good snippet). I'm curious of what you guys think!

P.S. it doesn't doesn't have to be a full song; if you'd like to see a new song with aspects from an earlier demo baked in a la Reality, let me know also!!!

What should I do?

some of my old and not pics of csh and album mascots👀

ive been listening to sm csh for like. a year now? it was mostly the 2010-2018 albums (esp twin fantasy. my favourite album of all time, i cried sm times). for some reason though i never listened to NYM, the length and less structured format were kinda daunting to me ig

soo this past week ive been listening to it and its honestly been really special, i didnt expect it to hit me this hard. after listening to a lot of tf and mm, where the main themes were hope for a twin fantasy and bitterness for when it failed, ig nym has more a sense of? quiet acceptance? its honestly really sad

it feels like dealing with the fallout of the twin fantasy and the isolation of your past, accepting that it happened and that a part of you yearns for it. but also knowing that what you wish for is not possible, like youre letting yourself just sit with it for once instead of throwing yourself in harmful relationships. its honeslty fucking devastating, no wonder the next album is about growing up and feeling lost

idk what do u guys think

I didn't reposted in the sub at the time when i got It because i wasn't sure if it would be considered a csh Topic, but If It isn't then a mod can Just take It down i guess

Felt like listening to csh again and decided to do a drawing about it! Inspired by @/ribbydraws on ig and their artworks about car seat headrest aswell!

I couldn't decided which work I liked the most (I think it's the first one... I think...) so, after some polls on stories this 2 win!

Hope you like it and if you do please support me in ig #tryingmybest (also share your thoughtssss, which one do you like better honesty??)

Can anyone confirm or deny this information?

My friend who really likes this band sat me down for a weekend and made me listen to every album. After going through all the live albums and singles, here are my thoughts! (Favourite song at top 10th favourite at bottom) (I really like this band now and this list will probably look completely different in a month) what does yours look like/do you hate mine?

I'm trying to get the twin fantasy plush. Sorry im kinda dumb, what is this for? Why is the price so different???? If someone could help me that'd be great.

What is the bpm of this song (i'm asking this because i want to make a cover; it's the 3 version btw)

im absolutely fucking obsessed with deadlines and i've found about seven versions of it so far, im wondering if there are any more that ive missed and can listen to? it's hands down one of my favourite carseat headrest songs if not my favourite ever and i'd love to hear more versions.

i so far have: hostile, thoughtful, live at brooklyn steel, acoustic demo, a mix-track of hostile and thoughtful, the version from the 2020/04/30 stream and the vinyl version all saved together on one playlist, are there any more that i don't know of? i know the yeule one as well, but i kind of don't like it in comparison to all the other versions i've found so far.

Just had this realisation that the lyric "He was dependent on social acceptance, just like every other human" may be interpolating the Smiths' lyric "I am human and I need to be loved, just like everybody else does".

Is this a stretch?
