Hi everyone! I'm preparing for the CSCA exam this December, taking both Math and Chemistry. The exam doesn't allow calculators, and I'm really struggling when they give me these huge numbers — like big multiplications, divisions, logs with large values, mole calculations, pH problems… I freeze up because I can't type it into a calculator! 😩
For example: log₅(6103515625) — how do I even start without a calculator? And chemistry problems like dividing huge numbers — is there a trick or a way to simplify them first that I'm missing? I know my basics, but big numbers scare me.
Does anyone have tips, shortcuts, or a simple method I can learn? Any help would be SO appreciated — thank you so much in advance! 🙏✨
