Jackpot! 3 different boxes 3 different silvers
Solid 3 box hunt! It’s been a long time since I’ve gotten a 90% and even longer for a V nickel! Not a bad haul’

Missed the importance of mentioning another notable find from my first box…1987-D.

This is a whole new level of douchebaggery. Found a 1982-S marked on the reverse and literally colored-in on the obverse

I've never found more than two silvers in a box, ended up finding 17 in one box. I wonder if a collection was dumped at some point. The coin on the right is the lone non-silver Canadian. All were 57-64 Roosevelts, over half being 64's.

Like I understand people “mark” their coins that they search but why drill into an otherwise decent looking NIFC?

Always happy to find something in nice condition.
While these aren’t silver, they’re still old in the nice condition.
I consider this, a rare little fine, even though it’s not more than face value.

I've been through 3 boxes of halves and found 1 40%, in the second to last roll. Also finished 2 boxes of quarters, one was a west coast box so there were a lot of coins that'll take the place of some D's in the books. A couple boxes of nickels with zero silver, and zero Buffalo's. One box had around 300-400 heat damaged coins. I've got 2 more nickel boxes to go, hopefully they're better. I kinda finished on a high note though. I searched the ends of my pennies and out of 5 boxes had 1 wheat, and 2 dimes. The only thing that saved the day was an 1881 ender.

The lady at my regular branch was out this week so my order wasn't acknowledged until calling today to see if they were available. Was able to stop by two other branches. The halves are already searched but we will see what comes of it! 🤷🏾♂️

I bought some straight from the mint. Should I open them or sell them as sealed?

I opened a few rolls, no privy. No Enders. Is it worth searching all the rolls? Seems like most are getting tons of privy per box, wondering if anyone has had boxes with just a few marked coins?

After beginning just the week prior I had prepped for all good things to come - I stocked up on half dollars wrappers to manage the many common I might expect to cash back in and I ordered my first $500 box. It arrived this week and am happy to report some successes. Prize find was a single 1967. I also saved 44 NIFCs found and a few others for fun. The dime rolls while in old wrappers were someone else’s cast offs with no finds or coins saved. Good luck to all. Time to order my second box of halves for sure!

This is why I always search rolls that appear to have been previously searched. I picked up 5 rolls last week, 4 were CWR and 1 MWR. The MWR was all new We The People quarters. I got my first few in change last week, but looks like my CU is getting them now… Today I picked up 4 rolls, all CWR. the first two were all We The People, so I assume a fellow hunter picked them up last week, searched them, then wrapped and dumped. One other roll had a Hot Springs that I need for my book so that was a win. The last roll had 13 bicentennials which leads me to believe they were wrapped by another hunter deciding to dump some of them, just because what are the odds there’s that many in one roll. Then the jackpot shows up! ‘64 silver!
Goes to show not all hunters are looking for the same thing so there might be something for you in that previously searched roll

Nickel box search. Got excited seeing the customer wraps. More than halfway through….
OLDEST and only coin set aside so far was a meh 1970s.

Went to my local credit union and asked for halves. Teller said she only had 12.50 loose halves. I took them and couldn’t believe my eyes as she counted them. 23 are 40 percent and 2 are Benjamins.

Recently went through a jar of coins I’ve had forever and found some old coins including a 1906 indian head penny. Got the itch to look for more and went to the bank to get some rolls. I found 5 wheaties and a couple shiny coppers all out of the same roll! Have I peaked already?

A few weeks ago I got very lucky, with a large find of silver dimes.
Things cooled off for a week or two, and my lucky bank is starting to choke off my supply.
But today I got a little more luck. This was the result of searching less than 1 entire box of dimes; I got 20 rolls from branch 1 and half a box from branch 2. The roll I photographed in my hand was the very last one. I unintentionally saved the best one for last.
As much as I know there must be more, I don't know which branch is the hot spot, or if they'll sell me any more from this week's shipment. I'm going to start separating them if they're going to be loose rolls...

I hardly ever do quarters, this was pure luck. Had there been dimes or halves I would not have picked up this bag. Speaking of dimes, I will try to get the dimes from this CU when they pop

Within one box of machine wrapped rolls I found 7 West Points and 2 S mint business strikes. Great hunt tonight definitely the best quarter box I’ve ever searched. Still never have found a silver in machined Wrapped rolls.
