I recently dropped BIO 112 after getting accepted into an ADN program, so I tried returning my lab kit. Unfortunately, I was told that because I opened the box, it was nonreturnable.

I never used the access code, removed anything, or used any of the materials. Everything is still inside, including the preserved rat, starfish, clam, and whatever else comes with the kit.

Rather than letting it go to waste, I told the bookstore employee to give it to a student in need.

So, if you need a lab kit, please call or stop by the Central Campus Bookstore and ask if it’s still available.

Hi all!

I’m F24 who is going back to Central Piedmont community college to do the medical assisting diploma! I am looking for some friends to hang out with and also to get to know as well better. I first went to Cpcc back in 2021 and I graduated in 2023 and then I transferred to UNC Charlotte and I graduated back in 2025 with my bachelors in communications. It has been hard in the job market for me to get a job and so I wanted to go back and get a certificate or a diploma where I can get a Headstart of healthcare career!

A couple things about me:

I do tarot on the side. I’ve been doing it for about four years now I first started doing readings on Etsy and then I moved over to TikTok and now I do some on this platform.

I love BTS and I went to go see the concert in my hometown two months ago. My bias is Jimin!

I love to sing, bake, explore new places, I like getting my nails done my hair done and I also like to go shopping I’d like to write.

I also like going to cute little cafés as well.

I do love K-pop and I love going to a little event that has to do with festivals!

Hello all! I am taking MED121 online this spring, and I am wondering if anyone recommends a certain professor for it. I noticed the professors for this course have been announced and the one whose section I am in now does not have positive reviews. Any insight would be helpful!

None of the professors that have available classes are on rate my professors. Can anyone tell me if they took any of these professors class for central campus A&P 2. Walden Kayla, or Zhang Ting?

Hey guys! So I’m currently 20 and attending CPCC, working toward getting into the ADN program. Unfortunately, I messed up pretty badly and ended up withdrawing from Anatomy & Physiology I (BIO 168) twice.

I’m planning on retaking it in Spring 2027, and my goal is to get an A in both BIO 168 and BIO 169 before applying to the ADN program in October 2027.

My current GPA is a 3.875, and I’ve gotten mostly A’s in my other classes. I also recently started CNA classes and plan on studying really hard for the TEAS to hopefully get an advanced score.

My biggest concern is whether having multiple W’s on my transcript, especially in the same science course, will significantly hurt my chances of getting accepted, even if I earn A’s when I retake the classes and do really well on the TEAS.

I’m honestly starting to panic because I feel like I’ve already fallen behind, and I really can’t afford to spend another year taking classes just to get rejected.

For anyone who has gotten into CPCC’s ADN program or knows how their admissions work, please be honest with me. Do I still have a realistic chance of getting accepted, or should I seriously consider switching majors now?

I really want to become a nurse, but I also don’t want to keep putting time and money into something if my chances are already significantly lower because of my withdrawals. Any advice would be appreciated!

Just wanted to give a heads up for anyone taking comparative cultures ( ANT-221) to avoid Roger stroope. The worst professor I’ve ever had when it comes to grading and responding. I sent 4 emails throughout the semester and did not get one email back. Multiple students have had the same problem as I’ve reached out to them thinking it was only me. Second his grading schedule is horrendous. To put it in perspective I took the 8 week short term session and he only graded up to week 4 before it ended. I normally don’t post stuff like this because I know professors get busy but 4 no response to emails and the horrible grading schedule and multiple students having the same issue I just want to warn anyone. Also I know it’s a online class but he had literally no helpful lectures or videos just read book then do work so take that as you will but anyway thanks for listening to my rant

I’m looking to relet my current room in a 4-bedroom townhouse at Aspen Heights University City. Move in would be around late November/Early December depending on how our schedules would work out. I currently live with 3 girls who are all students at UNCC and they are seniors. You would have your own room with a private bathroom. The lease goes until July of 2027 but there is an opportunity to renew. The room is room A in the Vail A layout of their floor plans. This room is located on the first floor in the back of the house. This particular house comes with a fenced-in backyard, so if you have a pet, it works out great! My base rent is $940. The utilities are split among the roommates which is about $45-50 depending on the time of year which includes electric and valet trash. Water, internet, and all other utilities are included in the base rent. Parking is free and the drive to campus is about 5 minutes. There is a shuttle that runs to and from campus for residents if you do not want to park on campus.

So early part of 2026 i was working in childcare and needed my Edu119 granted i wanted to go back to school anyway you know change my major all that jazz i called Cp asked them to unlock my account all that jazz i filed for residency FAFSA all that turns out i was enrolled the whole time i was like oh shoot well okay (haven’t been back since 2019 i graduated high school in Jan got enrolled in June was on academic probation due to Covid depression all that)

I’ve tried contracted and emailing and calling my advisor to try to enroll in classes and start but not a body gets back to me i wanted to study psychology i changed it towards the market and decided to go for digital marketing…. Im like so defeated at this point I’ve gotten ghosted by jobs all year but schools like wooow

Has anyone applied to Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) nursing program and know if they accept preliminary ATI TEAS scores?

I’m scheduled to retake my TEAS on October 13, but the application deadline is October 15. I know Gaston College accepts preliminary scores, so I’m wondering if CPCC does the same.

I already have a TEAS score, but I’m retaking it to hopefully score higher for the RN program. I’ve reached out to the school, but I wanted to see if anyone has had experience with this.

hello I am a student who is taking CHM 151 and I’m ngl that first lecture exam ate me up and I’m not sure about the 2nd lecture exam. (grade still pending) I am wondering if there’s any tips for the 2nd half of the semester so i can get a C or above since i need this natural sci credit

I get that everyone has bad days, along with bad weeks, but the cashier here has an attitude every single day. 🥀 I’m a calm and collected person, but the way she carries herself is very unprofessional. She acts as if you owe her something, lol.

not cute at all to be acting ugly fam, and the way she reacts to little things is just like a kid. I’m not even the type, but it’s getting to the point where u have to tell her about herself.

I won’t mention exactly what she does on here because I’ll contact the school with those details, but anyone who goes to Cato Campus can literally vouch. It’s not just me at all, others have stated similar experiences, and I’ve witnessed it myself with other people.

Her attitude is as if she just doesn’t want to live anymore, and I don’t think people with this type of behavior should be working in an environment with students, let alone people in general.

Hi guys, I am currently a DA1 with 2 years experience, but I no longer actively assist.
I have finished all my prereqs for the hygiene program at CPCC with all A’s. My advisor recommended that I should become a DA 2 by getting my radiography, infection control, and office emergencies certifications.
Has anyone gone through this before and can recommend a program where you have received these certifications?

I'm trying to get a little more information about this program-I see it is in conjunction with Caldwell Community College. Do you have to apply to both schools? Has anyone completed this program and found employment in Charlotte?

Do any vending machines on central campus have bloom energy drinks?! Pls lmk I’m not tryna stop on my way to an 8 am presentation:)
