I feel like the last 8 seasons we've driven ourselves mad as a fanbase, pointing fingers at staff, managers, players, the board, ourselves. Is it really possible that the simplest explanation is the best and that much of our woes are simply down to the corruption of City? This would have been enough to buy a striker of Bale/Kane standards and a long run of goalscoring glory.
