This postseason sucks all of the ass.

The dodgers are throwing the series on the take. That’s my only explanation. Why keep snell when he is that gassed?

Roberts is an overrated manager.

This is exactly what the Dodgers deserve, but of course it has to be one of the two NL teams we all hate (Cards and the invincible alcohol makers).

I don’t know if this is good or bad for us. Good in terms of if this doesn’t light a fire nothing will. Because not only have they run the division for 8 years now they’re probably winning a World Series. Bad for the same reasons and Jed will probably just wax poetic about how much he admires the Brewers like he did the Dodgers.

Something’s got change, man.

No Nico is a disappointment, but Bregman, Dansby, Happ, Pete, and Seiya all getting nominated is great to see!

It definitely felt like a little step down compared to previous years ya. Plus the NL is stacked defensively, JJ is absolutely gonna win it

I wanna see our entire outfield on the list

As a member of a Cubs/Royals household, I was very pleased to see their entire infield and our entire outfield get noms.

Wow the fucking Brewers.

Are y’all leaning towards rooting for the Rays or Guardians? I don’t have much stake but the Rays uniforms have enough flair that I think I’m rooting for them

I’m going rays

I'm rooting for the Guardians, but I really hope Tampa wins because they're the only team that can beat the Brewers. I want the Brewers to lose.

Whoever has the best chance to beat the Brewers/Dodgers - so Rays.

I like the Guardians more and they have the current longest drought in baseball. I also like their fanbase. I saw a game at Progressive Field the summer of 2017 and any fan I met that learned I was a Cubs fan was surprisingly cool to me. And also…how can you not love Jose Ramirez? Great player. Took less money to stay in Cleveland. Put Tim Anderson to sleep… 😂

I can see the argument for the Rays in that they seem better equipped to beat either NL team (which is of utmost importance). But if you take away that aspect, I’m all in on the Guards.

This might finally be the year that I can't even muster the good will to think, "Let's just hope it's a good, competitive world series." the only thing left to add to my wall chart of this season is the post-season player awards, so that's the only news I'm waiting for

Stopped watching baseball once the Cubs were eliminated. I don't care who wins. Baseball is over until next spring.

Or so we hope.

I started watching hockey last night. Like, I knew it existed as a sport, and my city has a pretty good "minor league" hockey team, but I'd never sat down and watched the Hawks before.

The Hawks won, and it was my understanding that they're a pretty not great team, so I guess I need to keep watching?

As much as I’d love to see the Brewers lose I despise the Dodgers as well so seeing them get swept would be funny. For some reason their fans were shit talking us after we got beat by SD? Fuck em.

It’s go AL either way.

Notice how Pat Murphy doesn’t rely on “analytics” to make all the decisions for him and trusts his guys

Craig’s crew doesn’t like this take. Brewers fans don’t miss him and for very good reason. They wouldn’t be this far if you replaced Pat with Craig.

I want hoerner in the 2 slot next year

u/sdpcommander I miss Yu 12h ago

He's got to earn that spot back IMO. That's Bregmans spot right now assuming we don't bring back Seiya or replace him with someone as good or better.

5

u/NUMBNUTZ42069 Lester 6h ago

God no. He’s a great contact guy. Perfect for the 5/6 spot. He doesn’t work counts, doesn’t hit for power. He shouldn’t get the 2nd most at bats on team.

2

u/CuriousCubSixteen Baaah 8h ago

You want the worst hitter on the team this year to get more at bats? If anything he should be hitting 9th

I'm rooting for the Brewers because I love baseball and the Brewers are good for baseball.

Brother don't be crossing subreddit lines like that though. Some of them do not take kindly to it.

u/Jacksington Bergman 4h ago

They play incredible baseball and that’s hard not to like if you’re a fan of the game. Sucks the cubs are just not at their level currently but if they keep this intensity of play for 6 more wins they are deserving of a title.

2

u/potato_boy4 4h ago

This guy gets it.

u/Jacksington Bergman 3h ago

Lots of kids here spouting nonsense. If you like baseball you have to recognize their game. I’m not necessarily rooting for them, but they are on an incredible run right now and I think they absolutely deserve to win the pennant.
