One one hand, the Dodgers lost. On the other hand, the Brewers won.

I watched the last few innings of NLCS Game 1 last night and I couldn’t even decide who I wanted to win. This sucks.

I can't stand this bullshit "underdog" gimmick of the Brew Crew. They've become insufferable with it. I want to see the Dodgers lose more than them, but I hope to God they lose to the Rays in the World Series.

Any comment that doesn’t glaze them on the mlb and baseball subs is downvoted into oblivion. It’s pretty nauseating. They are never going to get rid of that annoying victim complex.

My toxic fan-hood take is that I don’t want anyone to win it besides the cubs. So when a team like the dodgers are going for 3. I’ll cheer for them. Because in my fucked head, I want the cubs to be the one to stop the bad man. Oh and because fuck the brewers.
Secondly - I don’t want small salary cap teams winning because I don’t want the Ricketts to get any ideas. Previously in the Ohtani sweepstakes Jed referenced the Rays can win without spending. That type of mindset disgusts me given the differences of fanbases. We aren’t the rays fans. We are cubs fans. This is not an apples to apples comparison. Spend the money that cubs fans are willing to spend on the team.

Yes! I have that petty fandom of “if I can’t be happy no one can!” And wind up hoping the Dodgers or Yankees win lol.
Also unfortunately the only team that doesn’t have a low payroll anymore is the team going for the 3 peat

random cubs thought - do you think Dansby Swansons friends and relatives refer to him as Dan? Like when they see him do they say 'Hello Dan' or 'Hello Dansby'?

I have never been able to enjoy watching postseason games that the Cubs aren’t in. I tried again tonight - nope.

Hey gang - I'm willing to pitch in $100 to buy Drew Rasmussen for the Cubbies. Who's with me?!?!?

He won't be a free agent. He has a 8m team option that will most definitely be picked up.

I’m all in on whoever comes out of the AL, obviously.
But I would rather see the Dodgers win a 10-peat before the Brewers win one. Their fanbase is already annoying as shit. Add a trophy to that and they’ll be intolerable.
