Doing a little sorting tonight.

Struck by this fun cross-section of the last 40 or so years of Cubs baseball.

Leon Durham was my favorite player when I was growing up, so getting to meet him was amazing.

Nice Kerry Wood!

Very cool. Thanks for sharing. Don Zimmer is right out of Central Casting for a baseball manager!

Sure you have those guys, but you don't have an amazingly valuable Milton Bradley auto card like me haha

Doug Dascenzo was part of my favorite Harry Carry “home run call”, and I wish I could find it somewhere.

Here’s what I remember, weekday day game at Wrigley. Doug comes to the plate, connects with a ball and sends it almost dead center field. Harry begins his call: “ it might be, it could be “…… in the meantime, the ball has hit near the base of the wall….” It is! a ho…….it hit the wall”…..

I’d love if someone could find that clip.

Nice collection of autographs though

When I was like 7 I took all the cubs cards I had and sent them to the players with self addressed stamped envelopes. I sent to about 20 players.
Scott Servais and Mark Grace sent one back. It was the Grace Donruss Rated Rookie too.
Love those guys.
