I'm just gonna say it: I want the White Sox to lose. I don't know why I'm expected to root for them when Sox fans do nothing but bitch about Cubs fans, play little brother 24/7, despise our best player and the league MVP, and by-and-large rooted against us in 2016. I hope them, LA, and Milwaukee all lose ASAP.

They also keep pushing that weird narrative that somehow Cubs/Sox reflects the divide in the city lmao Like as though as if there’s some magical boundary that you can only root for the Cubs if you’re a yuppie LOL

I live in Michigan so beyond being a Cubs fan, I’m also a Tigers fan so the idea of ever rooting for the Sox is horrifying to me.

Okay? I don’t like your team, sorry. But not really. I hope they lose. I’d feel the same way if the Cubs were still playing or lost 100 games this year.

This still sucks, but we get four playoff games on TV today. All of them could be clinchers.

Would have been nice if we had noticed that the untouchable closer was tipping his pitches.

Fuck the Padres. And now let's see the Dodgers beat the Brewers (and then the Dodgers lose in the WS).

Underrated moment from this season? This spin catch of the ball seiya did around mid may I think. Came in clutch during a dry spell

Go Sox today. A Chicago win is still pretty cool even if it can’t be us.

As a Cubs fan who grew up on the south side, I’m rooting for the Sox to close it out at home today. They may not fare as well against TB/NY or whichever NL team reaches the World Series, but they’ve been such an entertaining team this year, I can’t help but root for them.

The FDA just approved the very first myostatin inhibitor. I predict his will have a major effect on professional sports. It will cost an insane amount at first, but I suspect these guys can afford it. If you were wondering, a myostatin inhibitor allows you insane muscle growth without even working out.

This dudes PhD is disputed, and takes steroids. I wouldn't trust his opinion on this topic.

Not sure he offered any opinions. He just stated the facts.

If we only had a Griffin Jax, we could be losing to the Brewers tonight.

Is it crazy to give Happ a QO? 23mil is a lot but giving him one more year as opposed to 3.

My thought process is that the FA hitters market is pretty top heavy. With Happ being one of the better options. Do you give him a QO assuming he accepts to take one less position you need? Let’s say he declines, have to assume a lot of teams then avoid given he has draft comp tied to him then. Which in return gives you a little more time to work a deal out with him to bring him back.

I know a lot of people are looking to move on from Happ. But I have a hard time believing in this front office to fill SP needs, RP needs, corner OF’s, and DH.

I'll bet you anything you could find a nice platoon that could provide similar numbers for far cheaper. I mean it would be nice to have one player, especially when we all know and love, but I don't think that is how they plan on handling this one.

dude cant hit left handed pitching anymore

I think having him 1 more year is ideal tbh. Nobody else on this team can play GG left field and put up the power numbers. Saying that we really need pitching. 😆
