Shoutout to the Hope Church All Night Blitz people for being able to film footage of the store.

As an animatronic fan and MN native Circus Pizza has always stood out to me. Circus Pizza was a chain of restaurants that had the “Rock Afire Explosion” in their establishment and had bumper the clown as the mascot. Burnsvilles show in particular had multiple unique aspects such as Mitzi’s cheerleading outfit and the base that Dook (the drummer) sits on that would light up when he drums. The rockafire has always been some of my favorite animatronics, and it’s been awesome working with people who own and restore them.

I personally have parts of a “Studio C” chuck as pictured along with a “cyberamic” from the old school Chuck E. Cheese that I believe was in that same building (came from different stores). I soon will also be owning one of these characters so it’s cool to know some used to be nearby! Unfortunately I was born in 2011 so I never got to experience it, but would love to hear your memories of it.

And on the chance someone knows what happened to them I’d love to know. Been trying to hopefully find someone in MN that has these bots from the 80s and 90s but no luck. If I were to track down one of these sets from circus or Chuck E. Cheese I’d love to give new life into them.

Hello! I am going to be moving to MN in a month or so for a new job that I accepted, I was wondering if I should find a place in Burnsville or if it would be better to live near the Twin Cities. For context, I am 23M and single, I am looking for a place that is lively and will be most suited to meet new people and make new friends. My work location is in Burnsville, so the commute will definitely be shorter if I stay there, but I also am looking for areas with good nightlife and a good vibe in general, as well as somewhere safe with low crime. I would appreciate any advice about where to live as well as life in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area in general. I was born and raised in San Francisco my whole life so I am kinda used to the big city vibe, but I really am open to anything here, it's a brand new experience. Thanks!

Edit: Thank you for all the replies. It would be helpful to add that I’m not narrowing it down to these two areas only, if there are better places that would fit what I’m looking for.

I’m a Dental Hygiene student at Normandale Community College in Bloomington and I’m looking for patients to help me complete my clinical requirements.

Affordable services include dental cleanings, periodontal therapy, and digital X-rays!

I’d especially love to help anyone who is overdue for a cleaning or hasn’t had one in a while. The only requirement is that you haven’t had a cleaning within the past 6 months. Current bitewing x-rays are needed prior to a cleaning appointment and can be taken at the school or any dental office.

Appointments are at the Normandale dental hygiene clinic and are approximately 3.5 hours, with more than one visit likely needed.

If you’re interested or know someone who might benefit, please message me! And feel free to share with friends, family, or your local community.

Thank you for helping support me through my dental hygiene education!

this makes the following exits to NB 35W closed

-Cliff Rd
-Hwy 13
-Burnsville Pkwy
-Cty Rd 42

Just how the FUCK are we supposed to get onto Northbound 35W next week? this shit is absolutely unacceptable

I’m looking for a personal trainer or facility that offers a personal coach in the area. Has anyone tried the Exercise Coach in Eagan? Is there anything similar to that in Burnsville? I’m not sure I want to solely do my workouts on machines. I’m wanting a one on one tailored workout, I have some limitations and can no longer do big box classes in big box gyms.

To help everyone engage in the civic process, I wanted to share all the websites of our current council candidates

First up, Vince Workman. Honestly, it’s the “prettiest”

good luck getting onto 35-W NB quickly lol. this is ridiculous

A group of progressives (I’m one of them) are trying to flip our conservative City Council today.

Each voter can pick two candidates on their ballot - please consider Nick Benson (me), Cati Gómez, Chris John, and Tunisia Irby - thank you!

I’m looking for an apartment in the area, can anyone steer me in the right direction!

Curbside Waste has dropped off garbage and recycling bins at my house twice, but we have never requested that they provide us garbage/recycling services. The first time we got them to take them back (after a week!) but now they are insisting that someone signed up for service at our address. We did not. Has anyone experienced anything similar or have advice for how we can get them to take these bins back?

Looking for people to play pickleball with! We can set something up over the weekend/weekdays—let me know if anyone’s interested? I’d love to join if there’s any group. I have lifetime membership where i can book courts as well.

Does anyone know if a restaurant/bar is playing the Love Island S8 finale tonight?

Mo' Bettas is doing something like a soft opening on 42 by the 35 intersection. They're handing out plate dinners for free with a beverage. It's all premade, so you don't get a choice but I got chicken katsu and kalua pork (scoop of white rice and macaroni salad included). Super good food so if anyone is needing a free meal tonight you should head over.

New to the area. Saw a lot of cars at the high school on the weekends. Was wondering what events were going on? Is there a website? Are these community events at the high school?

I’ve seen this dog half a dozen times in the last month, running loose around my house. It usually ends up retreating behind the Villages of River Woods townhomes, running up a trail into the woods, and I can’t see where he ends up. Does he belong to you or someone you know? The owner doesn’t seem to be able to contain their pet. Next time I see the dog, animal control will be called.

They've indefinitely banned 6 of my accounts for the most minor things. The most recent one was because I said "Amazon drivers are just doing their jobs. Just drive around them and move on with your day" our neighborhood snowflake moderators said that's bullying. But racism is "just a viewpoint that needs to be respected" 🤣

Hello! I’m not from around here (Massachusetts), but I LOVED visiting this store in the Burnsville Center. Does anyone know what happened to him or if he moved to a different location? I was DEVASTATED to find out his store is no longer there. 💔

Does anyone smoke around Burnsville and like to just meet up at the Crosswest Town Park? Possibly M4F?
