$7.50 for just the sandwich after tax and the Walmart 20% off coupon. Shit was fresh, everything about it. Hot patty, crisp veggies, crisp bacon, melted cheese.. dayum. i'm guessing it's just easier for them to use a regular whopper. i don't eat meat but i feel pretty certain i've been given regular beef patties when my receipt has said impossible burger. there's no way to cure this either. i contacted burger king and got a $5 coupon if i join their rewards club and form apology, no human contact. and i don't think they care because i'm guessing the impossible patty is not the money-maker they'd prefer. so their rationale is probably, just half-do it until they yank the licensing and we can get back to our regular routine. i'd almost prefer them to bring back the goofy veggie patty that pre-date impossible for years: i think morningstar put it out. at least if they aren't going to sell in an ethical way, you can look at that one and know you're not eating a regular patty. though i think i remember them telling me there was egg in it possibly

Burger King stopped me from committing suicide. Yup. You heard me. Long story short, I had a really bad and depressing day. Gf dumped me, had way too much beef, forgot my anti-stress meds, etc etc. Anyways after talking about what I felt like doing to my therapist, my dad came and picked me up. Still depressed, and hungry from not eating too much lunch, we decided to stop at Burger King. I went as a kid before, but it was at a crappy location and I didn‘t eat my burger. I was like 6. Anyways, we sit down, I order, and after eating, I don’t feel like hurting myself. If I hadn’t stopped there, I probably would have done something. So yeah.

I recently had to drive back-and-forth across Massachusetts in a single day and on my way home, late at night, I was delighted to find this BK - what Hemingway might call a ‘clean, well-lighted place’ - not only open, but serving some of the best food I’ve had from a Burger King in a long time.

I went with my usual:

• Double Whopper w/xtra mayo

• Original Chicken Sandwich w/double chicken, lettuce & mayo

• Bacon Double Cheeseburger

• Large fries

• Big ass soda

It was . . . glorious. Soooo good. Even though it was late at night, everything was freshly prepared and tasted about as good as it can get, I think.

I was also stunned by how clean it was. Inside, and out. Hence, the picture.

Made this and it's almost exact! Goes great with chicken fries.

Double meat, light sauce, no ketchup double onions, jalapeños, tomato and some love. Loaded up my Walmart+ free whopper and I still somehow forget how good the whopper taste after a few weeks without having one 😅

I know this was a test in certain regions (mine was one of them). The grilled chicken sandwiches and wraps appeared on the menu back in August, and I liked them. They were better than the previous ones (although I still like Carl's Jr's charbroiled chicken better). The coupon mailers were still promoting the grilled chicken menu in September.

But, once the calendar flipped to October, all gone! Not too long ago, the fast food chains were awash in grilled chicken options. But, most of them disappeared the last few years. I was hoping that BK would spark a return.

Unless this test was a precursor to a national rollout, it looks like that won't happen.

Over all solid! BK was my fav back in the day! (bring back the BK Stackers!!!)

The new pretzel bun was interesting. I give it a solid 3 out 4 . It’s no Wendy’s pretzel bun from the early 00’s. Still chasing that dragon….. Overall it’s exactly what it says it should be on being pretzel bun

The beef on the burger is as a solid 5 out of 5. You could blindfold me and I would know this was a BK charbroil burger! It was amazing and no notes needed

The new nuggets were so much better!!! I think they were heavy on the tempora batter and there was a lot of air between the chicken meat and the batter. If they beef up the chicken just a little bit it’s a solid 4.5.
Now onto the sauces. The honey mustard was great! I honestly wish it was a little bit thinner but damn it was good. The Sweet and Sour is exactly what it says it is. Not my favorite but on par with what’s offered at other fast food places. I do miss McDonald’s Sweat and sour from the 80’s and early 90’s.

Fry’s are decent give them a 3.5 which is what I give McDonald’. Wendy’s used to have a sold 4 fry but it’s like a 2 right now . (It’s gonna taste better out of a yellow carton right?!?) being from Columbus area Dave would straight up do a shootout like the Colonel Sanders did at one his first restaurants. DT learned/worked with Colonel Sanders back in the day….

Chicken sand-o 2.5 ; very mid but way better meat than the last time I had it. Last time I had one I had on it had grill chemicals and it was inedible. It about Wendy’s level these days has, and Wendy’s has had a major slid the past 2-4 years. The old spicy chicken sandwich gave Chick-fil-A a run for its money. McDonalds is on the same level as this sandwich for me. It’s meh

Onion rings were decent! I give them a 3 m. I had a local Philly cheese steak restaurant’s onion rings and fried. Mushrooms and it was half the cost for better food. I’m also 1400 miles away from Philly but can get good sand-o’s with wiz for cheaper. Rings where 4 bucks and fried shrooms where 3 bucks at my local place . Overall not bad on the onion rings; they definitely need to throw in a free onion ring into your fries like they used to do it was always a happy surprise. Get that Xbox 360 Sneak King game energy!

Overall very happy will go back! Doing way better then McDonald and Wendy’s but it’s no GoodTimes

Good day BK crew. I was lucky enough to stumble upon a BK polo at the thrift today, figured I might as well try and score the matching visor and apron for a Halloween look. It’s a black polo with orange/red trim as seen below (not the actual polo but it’s an identical one). If anyone has a uniform, I will happy pay for shipping. Dear BK, I will never commit myself to being an employee. I couldn’t when that entails becoming icked by the food itself for years to endure. I’d rather stay a silent stranger to the burger procedures, no matter what undesirable employment status I find. My most favorite of all is the impossible whopper. I don’t give an owls hoot that it’s not meat. I’d eat it just the same if it was. What absolutely sells me beyond any other fast food taste, is that peanut oil yall use on the impossible whoppers. It’s so distinct, it’s so delicious. Ever since that came out in 2018/2019, I’ve never eaten a normal whopper since. Idc, give me the additional sodium. It’s delicious. I love you. Please give me a jacket 🥺
