That card is a real beauty, the gold border with Chipper is just perfect. I remember pulling a /99 card of him few years ago, I was shaking so much I almost dropped it in my coffee. The 40/50 serial is crazy low, that's like a museum piece now. You should put it in a one-touch case immediately, don't even breathe near it. My wife always ask why I spend so much on little cardboard pictures but she don't understand the feeling.

He managed a .400 OBP over more than 10k at bats. Makes him part of a small club of elite hitters.

That .300/.400/.500 line is a thing of beauty.

I am a braves fan solely for pulling a Chipper Jones jersey card when I was like 8 and was amazed that they actually took a piece of his jersey and put it in the card lmao.

Dream pull right there. Chipper’s my favorite player to this day.

Right! I really love this set, too. The 55 throwback is so cool.

Where did you find TCPA???

Or maybe you have incredible self control and kept a box for a rainy day?

Either way! Incredible pull!!

I bought a Chipper rookie card years ago off of eBay and someone stole it out of my mailbox. Still pissed about that.

Just looked it up and now that card’s going for over double for what I bought it for.

Ouch.
