ok. but by the same wisdom, you would not go to the greg infested apartment if you wanted to avoid gregs.

If one Greg lives in an apt block, you probably won't find one by going to a random apt.

If there's two Gregs and a Gregette in each flat, you could more reasonably call it Gregfested.

The label confers a very real meaning, that there's a much higher Greg density in the region, and if you are allergregic, then you'd better stay away.

Some apartment buildings are full of Gregs. Mine for example houses over 300. We aren't really into terms like 'infested' being used. We're just chilling.

Most apartments have between 0 and 1 Gregs.
Greggors Georg is an apt block that has more than 3 Greghabitants pre flat and is statistical outlier and should not be counted.

And by extension, nothing is ever infested, those things just live there.

at which point the word has no meaning. but thats always the end goal, isn't it?

So you’re saying your roach infested apartment is actually just where the roaches live? Ok fair enough, Greg.

So call it "not-for-fans-of-not-getting-eaten-by-sharks waters" that seems politically correct

WHY? What do you have against Gregs?

We're not all horrible people! xD

Okay, but what about if Greg doesn't belong in the apartment? If there's a clear overabundance of Greg in my apartment, therefore it can be considered infested, in fact invasive because it's my ecosystem and not Greg's.

Maybe Tim or Sue at the agreed upon time may be in my apartment, but not Greg, I didn't invite Greg into my apartment, they're not meant to be here.

Greg got fucking lost from his ecosystem and into mine. Hence it is infested with Greg.

If I'm in Greg's apartment sure.

But if multiple Gregs showed up in my apartment and refused to leave it would feel infested.

Alright, but I've been in a Greg-infested apartment before, and it was a scary place

Came here looking for Old Greg. Not disappointed. 👍

I’m no Greg, but I do believe I infest my house. I’m not really ‘living’ in it, more like ‘pre-haunting’ it

Sharks aren't in every water area.  I've been in the ocean in many places and only seen a few sharks, all alone.  Under specific conditions, I would consider an area of water to be shark infested.

I've also been to many apartments.  If there are an inordinate amount of Gregs in an apartment, well that would be extraordinary and likely an infestation.  But here's the thing: I have seen a Greg infested apartment.  There were 3 Gregs there, which is far and away more Gregs than one would rationally expect to find in one apartment outside of Annual Gregathons.

Life is a mystery.

Clearly you haven't heard of Farallon Island. There aren't any Greg's there because the Great Hwites ate them all.

I literally read “Shrek infested waters” and I was so damn confused

2

u/An_Emo_Emu 18h ago

I believe that the scientific term for Shrek infested waters is a swamp.

but what if that's not Greg's house and there were 20,000 Gregs and they were the size of ants

2

u/box_brownie_bear 1d ago

would be better to call them shark-inhabited waters. because the sharks do be inhabiting those waters.

u/programgamer 1d ago

Do the sharks pay rent?

1

u/Troed_road 1d ago

well, we know that greg is the fastest growing army on the internet

Same with the Dutch 'reclaiming' land from the ocean. Reclaiming from who?
